Hey ipad2user - Sorry to hear your frustration. Just want to make a few quick points because we really do want honest feedback. First, we put each entry in a numbered list, and then generate a number randomly online, and that's how it's chosen. No attention is paid to good or bad reviews. Second, we're really happy with all the reviews we've gotten so far, so there's really no reason to not pick someone. Third, with what you've said, we can't really do anything "right" at this point! If a 5-star review wins, it's I told you so, and if I 1-star review one, you'd think we just did it because of your comment. So anyway, I can't prove to you that this is a fair contest, but I can try. And I can say that we really do believe that feedback is the only want to improve. We've got a great list of tasks for our first update based on many of your reviews, which could include adding SFX, more music, stats on newly hatched aliens, and more. Anyway - sorry again to hear that! And thanks to everyone else for their feedback so far! You can always PM me with feedback too.

Gift card redeemed thanks I should have posted sooner for ipad2user but I actually gave the game a 3 star rating, not because it's bad but because it didn't really do it for me. I get your frustration as I have had the same gripes with some contests where the Devs asks for the "best" review to win and the winners review barely makes any since, but has 5 stars. I think you'll never truly be sure since it's a business and they need to drive buyers to their products, but I've leaned to just say what's on my mind in a review and have no regrets, win or lose its what I felt. I've actually had some Devs PM me for feedback after giving their apps low scores so they could make improvements
