Did I read on their website this was going to be universal or was that wishful thinking blinding my vision?
They did say universal on their website, but who knows if things changed since that copy was written.
You can imply that it is from writing "agricola" in the AppStore search on an iphone/iPod, and letting it auto fill the word results. It lists agricola as the first one. I think this means approved. The fact that you can see this on an iphone AppStore search, means it will be available for iphone. But still we wait.
Remark: With all due respect, there are quite some apps in the store that contain the word "Agricola" so the search result is not quite relevant, I am afraid. Let's keep the hope up, secure the money in hard and go on waiting patiently.
The folks at Playdek have repeatedly confirmed on their Facebook page that the game will be universal, so I think we're safe in accepting that to be the case.
Well, it seems that Apple has checked it several days ago ... so it is at Playdek to release it ... at least they could say how long we customers have to wait ...
I am waiting for Playdek's next game, Agricola by going through my backlog as well as hunting for new games. Agricola will come when it comes...
Do we REALLY know this or are we just assuming as much? I mean it might be true but it kind of annoys me when folk just start accepting things as fact when it is really just theoretical.
Did you read the interview on BG? This and other things making me sure that this is only a way to make 'advertising'.
Yeah, I agree it is MORE LIKELY TRUE THAN NOT, but like how you can't call somebody a murderer until they're convicted, there is always a chance there's more to it than we assume. Like maybe they first need to make a run to Best Buy for a new server or something.
Playdek finally posted an update on their Facebook page. They said a change was made to the multiplayer that required it to be resubmitted to Apple last Friday. Upon approval, they say they will announce release date, price, and the feature list. It sure looks like the plan was to release it no earlier than next week to avoid competing with Warhammer and Phoenix Wright.
Statement: It would be my pleasure. I am reading the manual of the physical version and plan to watch some videos. Observation: Looks like we have a health bunch of guys ready for multiplayer when this roll out!
