This would be fantastic. And this is even better. Because currently I don't see a reason in playing hard mode because it's more difficult to get a good score so separate leaderboards would be perfect.
Ad popups and IAP Hi extreme472000, Artvag, Qwertz555 Thanks for commenting on the ad popups. They're actually a bit buggy right now and are showing WAY too often, sorry about that. We'll fix that before launching Currently we have not plans of removing ads for IAP-buyers, sadly this is a complex decision from a business perspective so I can't promise that we'll do this. Could you explain what is complex about this decision? I don't remember a game that still has ads after buying an IAP. Thats like releasing a game for $1 then drop it to free with ads and saying that this is ok. To me it's not ok tbh.
Some people arn't bothered by ads at all, but for me I am always inclinded to spend more coin if they are removed. Less frequent would Be nice but a buck or 2 to remove them would be great. Either way I will still play this great game.
How is this complex? If a player has paid out for IAP then the ads should be removed. This is common practice. I would definately re-consider this as I can imagine there would be a lot of unhappy customers out there. Everyone understands the need for a developer to be paid for their work wether this be via ads, IAP or a paid app upfront. It's when you get more thane one of these together is when people get annoyed.
Nothing against ads in a free game. But ads after paying is a no-go ! I immediately would leave a one star rating in the store. PS: again, please, how to i equip the whale's armor ?
They probably mean the Sir Whale-A-Lot costume which is pretty expensive.. I have to save some butterflies before I can buy it. But it would be nice if the dev confirm it before I buy the costum
IAP and Ads Hi everybody! (this means you guys Sink_or_swim, extreme472000, Back2Funk and Qwertz555) First of all: I for one love learning stuff I didn't know and today isn't an exception. Your posts made me do some research (friends, family and fellow indie devs here in Denmark) and it seems we were wrong and you were right. It actually IS common practice to remove ads with an IAP buy...which we of course also will do! I must have been sleeping in that lesson - either way the lesson is learned now! I think the wording is ok.. It has something to do with the Whale so I automatically looked at the costumes and I saw the Sir Whale-a-lot costum which made sense to me. I wasn't 100% sure though. Thanks Qwertz for taking the risk
I don't think you should change the wording. I bought it last night and figured it out. Kinda clever, I like it. Also I think you have done the whole gem thing right. The ability to earn 4-8 a day, plus I also see a gem to collect every time I play a run. Great job on this one.
I don't think you will be disappointed with the feedback after making the change. It's great that you are interacting with your players too. This goes down very well with the gaming community. I wish you all the best with the release of this game as it will be very much deserved. I for one will be spreading the word.
Found a mistake on the friends menu option. If you have no freind a in the list it says '...user Game Center...' As opposed to - '...use Game Center...'
LOL at this, same position here. I bought the leaderboard with 3 cont. (Not proud of it) Next would've been 7 diamonds and i had only about 400.000 points. Please, tweak that to maybe 350.000 around ? Because it takes quite some concentration to get around 300.000 points. I also like the gem system. I get one every game. Fair and well done ! Everytime i jump into the rocket, i wanna touch the screen to steer it to catch the chains of butterflies lying ahead of me (dreams). Maybe. I recall what i wrote recently, that Devs like you turn this good TA to a great TA forum. Devs like you, listening to us, your customers. Cheers ! Edit: 'save-me' discount on two stars, about 25 diamonds used and very lucky but skilled with the rainbows (give many points if you catch alot), gave me over 750.000 points. Still, way too much to fulfill the mission, imho.
