Achievements are for completists. Not being able to reach 100% on a game unless you go on a wild goose chase (or Google them... why bother implementing hidden achievements then?) is a surefire way to annoy completists IMHO
Yeah, I should have known I was in good hands based on the rest of the game design. Then I would have tried a few more times before asking for help. I'd forgotten that there was a bomb pick-up before the first bridge. So I kept reverting to my save before the second bridge, feeling loaded for bear (or behemoth). I was loaded with a surplus of everything but a 3rd bomb. Thanks for your help. Pretty easy to do when you know how! There's even a nice loop before the double bridge so you can do laps while you carpet-bomb the left side before even needing to alert the bridge towers on the right. Again, good game design.
Hi @Eddie any difference between the two is most likely caused by an interruption to the server during the request and should sort itself out over time - that's what we found out when it happened. Regarding the Hidden achievements - that depends on a personal preference - some like those, some not. Most of the hidden ones in Anomaly are based on hardcore playing (I mean hardcore in time approach, like playing for many hours) and get uncovered when you are over some huge challenge, say, destroy 2000 towers. EDIT - and many of them relates to Commander Trials mode.
The update is already waiting for approval, however it may take a week, sometimes it takes 3 weeks. I can't tell you currently when it will go live, but we'll launch it asap (+ new content and some requested features).
Is there anything you can do about the bogus total score values in the leaderboards ? I can't see hoe anyone can add up to 100 million points... Also, how do I access the "Squad Assault Rearmed" ? I already beat the Squad Assault Mission 01 twice, with both medals gold. Thanks !
Hi, I'm trying to track the players that hacked the game and made the bogus high scores but a dev always looses against cheaters and pirates, and take this as an axiom. Regarding the second issue - this is also about to be fixed via the update already awaiting approval at Apple. thx EDIT - I am able to delete the cheated scores and have hope that no new ones appear.
Yeah, I've usually just figured that the first couple scores that seemed too good to be true were hacked, and considered the #2 or #4 person as the #1 score for a lot of games... =o/ Good luck though!
Missed this earlier as was on holiday, I re-recommend my recommendations... uh. yeah that makes sense. bugs, they happen, and largely its great little game.
Need some serious help with this.... I'm stuck on Level 6 (yes really) which is the Transport level - you have to escort a big transport past a pre-defined route, and it's the first level where you can use tanks. I've tried all combinations of crawlers / tanks / APCs but I just can't get past it. Any more tips at all? Thanks
What are you having trouble with? Are your units getting killed, or is the transport getting hit? Are there particular enemies that are causing you problems? Offhand I'd just say stop using APCs outright, and don't bother trying to kill everything (if you want golds you'll need to make some detours, but there's a fair bit of leeway in that stage because of the time pressure created by the transport).
