ICS, Out of curiosity, do you guys have any numbers on how many free games were given out in total during the Appvent Calendar? I'm kind of wondering if this has any impact on the app store. I know that personally, during this every day thing, I may be hesitant to purchase a particular game if there's a chance it might be free the next day. Besides which, I'll already be rolling in new games and likely will feel less need to buy something new in the app store. I'm sure it's a net positive, as it raises the profile of both the games and the developers, but I just got to thinking. (I'll stop doing that now.)

The purpose of FreeAppADay is the same as Appvet Calendar was: to promote interesting games from unknown (yet) developers. I wouldn't count on Avatar or Minigore cuz they are made by big companies, famoues, which don't need such advertising campaign.

i think the spider dev said they werent making the theyre game free EVER! but i hop they will i also hope parcel panc goes free
It makes total sense! By the way your requests to developers are definitely working! Remember if you are interested in an app to be posted it must be at least 3 stars to make it in!! and don't bother asking a developer with an app that's ranked number one in the AppStore...what you should do is actually search for great app, that have not been discovered yet and that you think need to be highlighted, because they are actually really fun and people would like them!
also hope Hook Champ makes it in. tried out the lite and dint love it but people say the full is a lot different
I think you should add an RSS-feed. That would make it a lot easier to remember to check in at freeappaday.com every day. Also; you'll make a tweet as soon as a new game becomes available, right?
