Seems like the perfect fit Tips for high scores: -Try to touch every platform that comes up to collect as much blue liquid as you can -Let the power ups come to you -jump off the platform when youre about in the middle of the screen -If you're too heavy then start jumping off the platforms 3/4 the way up for a a few seconds Improvements: -Sometimes my touches do not register (iPhone 5s iOS 7.1.1) -Cant access any of the menus except the GC leaderboards (I'm sure you're already aware of it, probably because you haven't implemented the about/options yet -A more flashy title screen/texts -make it so that every time you die you can instantly reset instead of taking you back to the title screen (moving the leaderboards and options -When you die and use up an extra life, make it so that you can move/position yourself during the countdown -make the "tap to play" button be the whole screen. -make the "options" button into a gear box icon in one of the corners of the screen. Make the "about" button into an information icon and place it next to the options. -a cleaner pause button (also make the "tap to continue button" the whole screen) -change "profile" into "leaderboards"

No problem, glad to help I've always been a fan of small indie projects. I'm completely pro-premium, but keep in mind you're going to have tons of competition. There are many many highscore games and most of them are free/ad based. Thats already a big advantage for them since they have the attention of casuals which make up to 70% - 90% of people on the AppStore. But I guess you guys can decide this when its all polished up and its a gold build. Just my opinion, the AppStore has evolved so that premium highscore chasers don't really exist anymore. Usually these games get spread around by the "share" button or shown off by a friend. And if it costs money, then they're going to want to back offf. But if its free, they got nothing to lose You can always release it as premium though, and if its not as successful as we think it would be, then you can always join an ad-network and re-release it as freemium I guess. Then hopefully it'll climb the free charts and generate more bucks than it did freemium. But keep in mind this time around you won't be featured in the AppStores Best New Apps/Updates section (if you were the first time around, and I don't see why you would since its a unique game, and sometimes the Apps there are... Well... crap...), making it more difficult to grow. Even though ads may not generate as much (even though it could), it may just generate more since its a quick-fix highscore game. An example would be the whole Threes! and 2048 dilemma. Idk, I guess what I'm trying to say that the AppStore is a gamble for devs hahah. But who knows really, we'll have to find out by releasing it. Also, I think it would be best to replace the orange bar ontop with a proper tutorial. Took me a while to figure out how to play since I am always focused on the game, not the bar ontop Also heres a general idea of what I think the app icon should look like its a bit sloppy and the colors arn't right, but its just a general idea. i think it fits the iOS feel. I am sure you can make a much better one.

The icon and many of the menu changes will come around once we get the gameplay and performance perfect. Then we look at the art for the game and go ahead with all these changes. What is in the next build: more smoother and fluid gameplay at 60fps discontinued support for any iOS device that has a processor less than A6 fix a physics bug: where a single particle from the falling red blob, affects you like 50 particles making you very light suddenly add tilt controls in the game making the typography better and readable I will add to the list as things get done.
Orange is the new red. We just submitted a new build (v0.5) on the store, after review it should show up as an update on your devices. Whats changed: * More work on fluid physics * Fixed the bug where the red liquid was causing too much damage * balancing power-ups * started working on in-game progressions * fixed issue with game center leaderboards * fluid 60fps gameplay across devices * new profile and power-up screens Work on typography and tilt controls is still under development. The profile and power-up screens are placeholders, they do not work right now. They are added in the game only to give a slight indication of how hey will work in the final build. The game now looks very cluttered, we know that. We will fix that when we start working on the art for the game.. right now we are just dumping things left-right-and-center as we work on features and performance. Game Center can now be accessed by the "Challenge Friends" option on the game over screen. The gameplay has changed a lot.
