    Bugs:

    if you tap "tap to play with touch", then lose, the tap "power ups", then play again, the square will slide to the right automatically without control.

    Also at times the square will not change colors. It'll just stay green

    Power ups dont go away when you lose. They'll stay there, leaving you to use them the next playthrough

    Sometimes the orange seems to really have a greater impact than the blue. I would get hit by mostly blue and a little bit orange, but I'll still end up floating. Seems unbalanced. It happens probably 50% of the time


    Impressions of 0.5:

    I personally liked the pixel art style that the red and blue had in 0.4. This art style seems a little too "unprofessional" I guess I would say. It just has that careless look.

    The gameplay seems a bit too chaotic for my taste now. You cant really aim for orange or blue anymore. The game feels as its just based arounf luck now.

    The square does not change orange quick enough. I really only notice the square turning orange once I practically lose

    I am not a fan of the dark green colored block, and the slightly darker colored white background. It just gives the game a dark feeling

    The new profile stats are a plus, I'm really digging it.

    Also, this will probably be adressed later later, before launch I recommend giving the orange and blue some sort of name. I was thinking maybe the cube would be a sponge-like item and the Blue can be water (soaking up the sponge - making it heavier) and the orange can be some sort of magical sun type thing lol (making the block dry up and lighter)

    In extremely early stages of the game, you were a sponge, blue was water and red was fire :p Fire changed in to another liquid because of physics..

    Thank you for the other feedback. I will check them and then respond.

    I know its an extremely early stage, was just leaving some comments :D I'll focus more on the current version rather than future versions next time :) sorry

    No no, i meant in earlier stages of the game that was the concept.. but in time we evolved from fire to the red liquid :)

    Also, we have yet another huge update in place, we submitted 0.6 for review yesterday..
    hopefully it should be available by next thursday (Apple takes about 5-7 business days to review apps).

    0.6 is very close to the gameplay we have in mind, though that tech-tree power ups feature is still not implemented.

    We are now completely focussing on art and audio. Will post some WIPs here. 0.7 will be all about the art and audio.

    regarding the bug, where we have powerups left over for the next round:

    it is not a bug, its a feature. Powerups show up as you play, and we thought they will be a motivation to play another round, right after finishing one.

    Ahhh I see. I actually like that them :) I did find myself wanting to play another round when the extra points power up appeared hahah

    Yeah... Most people just take the code and take off :/ it really isn't helpful that I'm the only one giving my opinions guys. They're trying to create a game that appeals to an audience, not just one person. If you grabbed a code the least you can do is tell whether you liked it or not, and if so why.

    I definitely liked the game and have been following this thread, but I don't know how much new insight I can bring, so I've been holding off commenting.

    It seems like there might be a bug when you first load the game...the controls seem unresponsive? I die once and then the controls work properly. Or maybe I just forget how to move? Not sure if it's me or the game.

    I like the power ups. Maybe add a couple of new ones? I also dig the overall concept of weight, but agree that the red can be over powering and that quick state of feeling weighted down and powerless and dying seems unbalanced. It's a tricky thing.

    I love the look of the game. The 2 oceans of cubes battling for your soul!

    Did you upgrade to version 0.5 ?

    To do so, first delete the game. Then in App Store, go to Purchased section and download the game again.
