yea I literally wanted to give up after what was it....turn 4? you got both blades? lol. it's alright, it happens. that second game was a lot more fun for sure

 

In that second game I was regretting almost the whole game not buying Treasures of the Study during the first turn. I was thinking, what are the odds of Arha Rising showing up... and then it stayed for the whole game!

 

there are many games on my ipad but this one has stuck around forever, and I find myself playing it all the time still

Oh! I guess I've been having a great couple of days, I unlocked the Assassin achievement at some point.

 

I just unlocked the achievement for winning 10 games without killing the cultist, right after a game I killed the cultist several times (heck, I'm not sure I've won one game without killing the cultist Strange.

 

I got then once against camzy but that was mid game.....karma?? onlyohoenix got them super early and it was "gg" at that point lol. even assuming. there's no monsters (which there were) that's 4 honor per turn on cultists alone!!

 

For Dream Machine to work on the Edges it would require Hedron Rising or Dimension Diver though, but that would be a pretty sick combo

Yeah, some of the achievements are kinda borked - I remember getting that one and thinking "I'm pretty sure I haven't played 10 games without killing at least one cultist, but whatever".

I'm pretty sure both of the "Win 10 games in a row" achievements aren't working (the "win so many games in a row" achievements don't work for Nightfall, either), and while I've gotten "Have Everything" for Return of the Fallen, my "Have Everything" status has been stalled out at 66% and 53% for CotG and SoS respectively for a long while (I'm pretty sure I've aquired/defeated everything at least once by now).

Been enjoying some great games with many of the folks here!

 

I would still like to believe that my Assassin achievement was earned rather than a glitch I can at least say that I've been winning more consistently if nothing else.

 

I just won against "idrinkwater". Good couple of games.
