thanks! I took a glance now and couldn't figure out which one is missing, but i'll get to it. I was doing a hand made map, so it spoil too much. It seems like i've been everywhere, though. Your game is fantastic. I've been recomending it a lot, congratulations. Spoiler It was the one near the knight! So easy, I passed that spot a million times. Even after I got the goggles. Well, it would take me forever without the map, i was convinced there was an area I didn't pass, so..
Thank you for the full (up to the last Green Square) map, Wade! Looking through it, I have been in every area except the room past the second Mummy (which I've seen earlier in this thread), so it's no longer a spoiler for me, but it will be very helpful in finding those last 2 Green Squares! And I also love the shout-out to the TA Forums in the map's file name! You're an awesome dude yourself!
Awesome Game!1 Im stuck though, in The area with The underwater save room. To The left there are Lava falls i Cant Cross, to The right i found a Green Square but no Way out. I own speed and Gun powerup, no goggles or lavasuit yet. Any Suggestions?
So you used speed suit to get past this screen? I'm afraid you're stuck - you need the goggles to get back out...Looks like another update is needed to fix this.
I finally found that last Green Square Spoiler to the right of the underwater save room and completed the game! IF YOU DO NOT WANT TO KNOW THE ENDING, DO NOT UNCOVER THE FOLLOWING SPOILER! So, was that really the true ending - Spoiler feeding the Smiling One, only to get eaten myself!? Certainly not the ending I expected! Is it possible to actually "win" the game?
Astronot Metroid! Just thought I'd post a pic of what I've started working on in the editor: For comparison, here is a pic of the original: I don't know how long this will take to complete because the map is huge, and changes will have to made to accommodate the game's limitations and abilities. For now, I intend to do only the Brinstar area. Fleshing out this area first will give me a better idea of how to complete the rest of the map.

I'm still slowly making my way through the game (Thanks, map!) and am having trouble beating the portal slime boss. Was wondering if I should be using the stairs on either side of the screen or if there is a trick to beating him or what. I have the goggles and gun upgrade and my HP is pretty substantial but that jerk keeps killing me, quickly. Any tips, other than what I've read here in the thread (ie dodge his fire and shoot him)? Thanks in advance for any info/advice.
Be sure you have the goggles on, and fire away at him while standing on the first step, as this makes it easier to dodge his yo-yo thing while still being able to hit him. When he gets on screen, dash underneath him to the other side of the room (while still firing to blast any minions out of the way) and repeat. That's how I beat him.

There's a few things I haven't figured out yet (like how to change the music for different areas), but what's there should be enough to get you started creating your own worlds. I can't seem to find the last green dot I'm looking at the map wade posted but I'm still having trouble. Arg! Any ideas? EDIT - Nevermind I found it. PS - awesome game! Hope you make more like it
