Ok here's what I think it is.

It'll be original, or at least semi-original. You play as an ex-Royal Marine who was betrayed by his captain, so he's now become a pirate and he's looking to seek revenge on his old captain. It'll be set sometime between 1664 and 1850. Probably somewhere in Europe.

This is just my prediction, so don't flame me if I'm wrong ;)

Ok guys, around 4-5 years ago, I remember playing a java game called Pirates Of The Seven Seas made by GL. Yep, the title explains it. Had fun with with. I might be wrong but I'll take a bite.

Well Shadow Guardian has decent animation and Rainbow Six has better voice acting. It's just a matter of Gameloft bringing everything together in one title. Which admittedly may be difficult since each of these were probably developed by very different studios within Gameloft which is why different games seem to focus on different areas like graphics, animation, voice acting, story, etc.

Hopefully they'll be able to give a keynote demo at the anticipated iOS 5.0 developer announcement event in April with release at WWDC to coincide with iPhone 5.

I think I'm the only guy in the world to have played nearly all titles by Gameloft from when it opens his virtual shops until nowadays!
I've played Marcel Desailly Pro Soccer, Block Breaker Deluxe for example and I've followed and purchase nearly all its games for my old nokia phones, coming to yesterday (I've purchased Sacred Odyssey)!!!:cool:

But not stupid enough to start a bout of childish name-calling, seemingly. If Gameloft have a reputation for making crappy clones, it's their own fault.

They could let one studio make the sound and the other the game. Then the one studio sends the sound files to the other and everything is done.

Sorry you're having a hard time accepting the facts.
Reality is, all Gameloft does is copy other people's ideas and profit off it.
It's all they've EVER done, why would that change now?

That doesn't make them or their games bad, but if they got sued, no one
would say "I told you so" as it's pretty much expected.

Where I WILL give Gameloft credit is, they're willing to actually MAKE for games
for iOs that some of the real companies are too lazy to do.
Yes I'm talking to you Blizzard.

i think gameloft makes good games, clones sure, but good none the less. i have bought prolly 50% of their releases or more. people like to bash them cuz the copy game ideas but whatever internet bashing is fun on forums, and i am sure most who bash still buy their big games but wont admit it.

I find it funny how people here are quick to the draw when it comes to gameloft but looks the other way when it comes to other devs. In the Overkill thread no one seems to notice that it looks and play exactly like MGS touch, not that its a bad thing.

READ the posts CLEARLY before you resort to schoolyard name calling.
No one is BASHING Gameloft's games, we said Gameloft has NO ORIGINAL IP's.
There's nothing YOU can say in defence because that's a fact.

    My previous post clearly said:
"Where I WILL give Gameloft credit is, they're willing to actually MAKE for
games for iOs that some of the real companies are too lazy to do."

As far as Craneballs, Overkill is FREE, so who's going to complain or compare?
Secondly they only have like 1-2 games, so they haven't established a SOLID
record of copying everyone else's IP's like Gameloft has clearly done.

I own almost all of Gamelofts games, so I can sit here and bash/support
them all day long, I've earned the right.

Again with the insults. If you were really smarter than these so-called "idiots" you'd know how to construct an argument without resorting to schoolyard behaviour.

MGS Touch isn't original either. Anyway it's not a matter of one single game being a clone, it's about a company whose entire library consists of other peoples ideas and barely any of their own. Craneballs don't do that.

...and what Creepshow said. You're on the ball ;)
