It sounds like Apple's review process could use some work. Instead of stopping the review and rejecting the app when a problem is found, how 'bout reviewing the entire app and giving a complete list of issues to the developer so they can fix them all at once!?! The current process is exactly how small government handles things like building permits and business licenses. This is not intended to be a favorable comparison.
I've worked in QC positions and we're always blamed for holding up things. It doesn't really help the developer submitted their package at the last minute and it had a problem in it. For how long now has Baldur's Gate 2 been on the horizon?
A fair point, but so is my issue regarding the process itself. I don't blame the reviewer, by the way.
It's already saturday 8:38am in germany but 11:38pm in Cupertino, LA. So, 22mins left to get approved, right?
i guess so...no? I'm not sure man, i'm actually refreshing Trents twitter page every hour but there aren't any news... :/
Lol same here! Would have been nice just to get a tweet saying it's coming post Christmas. Just to confirm. Despite the bugs I loved the first one on my iPad, pre patch and all. Can't wait for this!
Trent Oster @TrentOster 19h So, in a last minute Hail-Mary move we fixed the issue, resubmitted and begged for an expedited review. Just got message, we are in review Too bad the store is closed... Unless they released it last night.... did not see it anyways..
If it gets in under the freeze, there's always a chance it'll get approved. I've had 2 or 3 apps update since the holiday freeze took effect.
Trent Oster @TrentOster 17h Holy smokes. Just got a notice BGII for iPad passed review. #BG2EE is in time for Christmas. Maybe it's online ???????????
