Battlefield 3 - by EA mobile

Haven't played bc2 for a while but did enjoy. I found the mp very easy to get kill streaks - far easier than any console version.

I have loved the BF series on all formats. IMO, this is as good as MC2 just plays a little different.

It doesn't feel like the console versions but it's not supposed to. BF3 probably won't feel like any console versions either. Unless it has remote play on the controlls or tv display, you cannot copy console controls on the iOS.

Well, EA might try really hard to challenge gameloft's next round of fps's, or they might just not take it really seriously like I'm supposin they did with the first one.

 

We have been seeing some great stuff from EA update wise and recent games. These all seem like they can continue the trend. Hopefully they step it up this time in terms of graphics and gameplay.

 

Or will they just do the same with Shift + Shift 2? Slap a dash of new paint on BF2 and, voila! BF3.

 

^ i hope they don't do that shift 2 was a half assed game and BF is the crown jewel of EA so they might actually put in effort into it like what they did with dead space.

 

Games I want from there... ALL! Except Madden NFL 12, never liked American football, real og football or as americans call it soccer, is way better

 

One thing I never understood. Why would Americans call it football when most of the game is not comprised of kicking a ball?

For $5, yes. EA does not have confidence that people will pay fair compensation for a genuine effort. I'm not saying iOS gamers wouldn't. Just that EA doesn't believe that iOS gamers would fork over the cash for a game with a significant amount of overhead and high developmental costs. They don't want to develop a game that is expensive enough to require them to sell for it 9.99 or above just to earn a profit.

Piece of Trivia: Americans DID NOT start the term soccer, some exclusive ppl in Britain at the time used the term and it really picked up over here in the USA

I think tomorrow at Gamescom we will get some information, since it states that the EA Conference will be showing Mobile games of theirs as well

 

I would probably buy this game. EA gives you good value relative to the price you pay. I don't have any outlandish console-like expectations though.
