I noticed a wolf at the beginning of the trailer. Is it a pet or something like that? If so, how will they work? Do you level them up, or do they just come with a set of attributes, or are they purely cosmetic?
Looks great! One of my favorite parts from the original came after the campaign where you could farm for the best gear from the last boss and the arenas. Anything like that in the sequel? Can you replay certain areas for random loot drops?
Mika thank you for not trying to put multiplayer in! Not everyone needs that but anyway 12 classes? Oh boy thats going to be bad for my social life lol
That was a passive ability for the.... Rouge (or maybe Ranger..?) in the original Battleheart. It goes around and does melee damage, I assume it serves the same purpose here
Well, I can't think of any way you could have made this better. Great work! About the multiplayer, I feel like a coop dungeon crawler has more appeal than a zombie killer, as all the skills and character builds can be used to complement your friends. For example, you can. Have a wizard easily teleporting away from enemies while a barbarian charges in and buys the wizard time to launch a massive spell.
Yup, we have a few pets. The ranger class offers a summon wolf ability. The wolf inherits a portion of your own stats, so his level is linked to your own. The necromancer is also big on pets.
Since this has been asked a lot, I'll go on the record and say we have no plans for IAP at this time. We might consider it for an expansion pack someday, but only as a one-time unlock of new content. We will never sell a consumable currency.
This looks awesome and already my most expected iOS game. However, wasn't the spiritual Battleheart sequel supposed to be sci-fi themed or something? I'm sure I've read that in the blog.
