The less my fingers have to get in the way of the screen, the better. The DS barely made a portable GH work, and it has two screens to utilize.

 

I'm currently working on a DDR ish game called tapstar. Hopefully everyone likes it lol. The main difference is I think it's biggest strength, the controls. We also have a deal with Sony music so it will be the only commercial rythem game on iPhone with 100% licensed music downloads.

Also not to be a downer but I doubt audiosurf will make it anytime soon. It's true you can now play music from iPod library but you can not access the audio data which is required to do the stuff audiosurf needs to do to generate levels AFAIK.

Anyway tapstar should be getting wrapped up and submitted next week and the game was made for DDR fans. So it will be updated and maintained by user feedback. Oh yea we also have a built in store to download new levels in app (free)

 

Sounds very cool! The store always works nice in these types of games.

 

I'm mean, Popcap is an affirmed and successful developer. These guys are independent, and I have never heard of any other games from them, so they are seemingly less "legitimate".

 

Sounds nice. Will certainly purchase when it's released, especially if it has licensed tunes.

 

This looks sweet =) cant wait for release. Tap Tap aint getting my money for Coldplay....hehehehe

 

I'm tired of waiting for this game.
Why did not release?

 

The wait is sickening, but, remember, this was submitted on the thirtieth. Vanguard Storm was released yesterday, but was submitted on the 27th. This could come up in the next few days.

I got a very similar email from that contact. I guess they just have no clue when or where. Oh well.

BeatRider is a lot like the iPod (click-wheel) game Phase.

 

Yup. But a little better. That game isn't all that fun.

 

This looks insanely hard!! I'm gonna need to grow an extra finger or two!

Most likely causes:
The website is under maintenance.
The website has a programming error.


is something happening? or is it dead? LOL

That could be a very good sign that they are doing an update for an impending release! Nothing would suck more if it gets approved than to not have their site working to upload your songs!

I was so waiting for this...
Did they give up?? Hope they didn't...

 

Could just be more stability on the backend or the interface with the iPhone. You could always email them! I got a response within a few hours last week.
