    Nightmare Adventures: Witch's Prison

Anybody know if the extra levels IAP is worth it or not?

  6. That Mahjong Towers game was quite the surprise. I wouldn't even have looked at it if nobody suggested it. So I decided to demo it, and whoa, it was actually very well designed -- good interface and controls. Bought the IAP right away.

Other BFG non-HOs that I tried on iPad:
    • Fisher's Family Farm - a poor copy of Farm Frenzy. pass
    • Nanny Mania 2 - reminds me too much of daily chores. pass
    • Pengu Wars - cute, but i'm tired of Angry Birds. pass.
    • Hidden Wonders of Depths 2 - the 3rd one is better but not on iOS yet. pass.
    • Hospital Haste - nice dash but got too frantic early on. pass.
    • The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising - i love this building game. bought it!
    • Azada - purely puzzles. a classic. bought it!

As for the Hidden Object / Adventure ones, these are my top 5:
    1. Death at Fairing Point: A Dana Knightstone Novel
    2. Nightmare Adventures: Witch's Prison
    3. Awakening: Moonfell Wood
    4. Haunted Manor: Lord of Mirrors
    5. Mystery Trackers: The Void

    Runners up:
    • Awakening: The Dreamless Castle
    • Flux Family Secrets: The Ripple Effect
    • Nick Chase: A Detective Story
    • Nick Chase and the Deadly Diamond
    • PuppetShow: Mystery of Joyville

and I forgot the absolute must-have, best one of all:

    Drawn: The Painted Tower:cool:

I was never a fan of HOGs until I played a decent one by Big Fish. Now I'm obsessed. Try Nightmare Adventures:The Witches Prison or Awakening: Moonfell Wood. Although Moonfell Wood is a sequel, i did not play it in order and am happy i didnt bc the first one wasnt nearly as good. You may even enjoy Nick Chase (both eps) bc they are not hidden object.

I actually agree on most of your choices! I don't like any in your first category. I'm very surprised you put Death at Fairing Point as your top pick. I agree that witches prison and Moonfell wood would be in top 5. I really liked The Void but purchased it the day it came out and found bugs so it let me down:) Puppet Show seems to be a classic but I felt it was too short. At $6.99 a game(iPad) I get extremely upset when I find glitches, bugs or games that are extremely short:) Drawn had glitches for me when I played the lite version but I purchased it yesterday bc for $0.99 I will take the amazing graphics and hope the glitches are fixed:) I'm still debating on Flux Fam Secrets, Serpent of Isis and Haunted Hotel bc I wasn't a fan of the lite versions. I guess I may as well buy bc this sale is as good as it gets!! :)

I played an amazing game recently and can't think of the name (go figure). It was about a mental hospital that got closed down..... I'll look up the name before giving any info away:)

My Top 5 list isn't in any particular order or rank - sorry about that!
I guess I like them all about equally. :D

And yes I loved Death at Fairing Point... I'm a sucker for romantic tragedy and unrequited love. :p (yes I'm female)

    How YOU doin?

Seriously though, I took your advice and scooped up a bunch you recommended. Spent $15 or so and grabbed a bunch, all I have tried so far is Timebuilders (?)(The Egypt time management one) and though I am nearly halfway through it already, I put a couple hours into it this morning and it was well worth a dollar.

    Thanks :)

Anyone bought the FULL versions, next to the IAP purchases for the games?
I bought most of them when they came out, so they need to be activated..
now that all the Full games are out there too, it's tempting, so I don't need to deal with it, if I have no internet.. but it's a double cheap dip.
and... i end up with the game twice..

Did anyone else do the double dip ?

Yes, I just did the double dip on 5 of them.

I just like having the full version without that stupid blue screen of ads at the beginning.

It seems like everyone prefers adventure games to hidden object games. However, I'm the opposite. Can anyone advise me on which games are more hidden objects? I'm playing Flux right now and loving it. :)

I'm the same, hogs are more to my liking also. But seems like most games coming out are more of adventure and now with puzzles than hidden objects. Two of those had been mentioned near the beginning of the thread but I still ended up buying them.

Not sure if you mean the newer releases but Natalie Brooks have hidden objects and adventure along with Romance of Rome and The Mystery of the Crystal Portal and also the Treasure Seekers series. Other than the two I'd mention of being puzzle/adventure games I had posted my purchased games within this thread and might want to check those out because I'm fairly sure they are adventure with hogs.

sorry.. but i'm kinda lost. are you guys referring to
the two versions of the same game? (the IAP ver and Full ver)
so what you mean by double-dip is that
you downloaded the FREE version and bought the 0.99 IAP to get the full game
now you double-dip by buying the (Full) version so that you don't get the adds that is at the start of the IAP versions?

Has anybody bought the extra levels on The Timebuilders: Pyramid Rising? Are the 15 extra levels worth it?
