The update is not working for me. When I go to download the update, it starts to download and then stops and says it can't download as it is corrupt. Edit: Using iPhone 4S & iPad 2 with up-to-date iOS. UK App Store
Went ahead and deleted the app (2nd time I lost my progress) hoping a reinstall would fix things...now it won't even install. Says something like "The app could not be downloaded at this time". I'm NOT jailbroken and BOUGHT the game on launch day.
I downloaded on the following devices directly : iPhone 4S&4 and iPad 2,and there where no problems at all.
Im having an issue as well. I cant download the update neither on my iphone nor in itunes. I am quite worried about losing my progress! Edit: Iphone 4, iOS 5, UK appstore.
Not working for me either I've the same problem - Ipod 4, OS 5 UK App store - Its completely shafted the app, I can't start it or anything anymore.....
That is at least 3 people from the UK App store. Anyone in the UK that was able to download the update correctly?
This is weird, I'm in UK and had no problem. Try contacting Apple and see what they say. Distribution of the game in iTunes is beyond our control. Hope you'll sort it out.
Anyone having problem installing the update please stop giving us 1 star reviews (this is not our fault) and instead spend your energy on contacting iTunes support at http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/ so Apple can resolve your problem. Hope this helps.
Sorry, but I have already bought your game at launch. I am not spending my time getting in touch with Apple. YOU should be getting in touch with Apple to find out what's going on with YOUR product and why it is not working how it should be. Sorry but can't help but feel slightly cheesed off by your responses to this.
This is the first time I've had a problem with updating an app. Can't really think of anything else to do.
I contacted Apple and the response is to point you to the above mentioned url so they can sort out the situation for you, sorry for not making that clear Good luck. Just so you know Apple gets 30% from the price that you paid to deal with problems on their end, so you're paying them already to help you
I reported a problem directly in the App Store (never tried that button before). To anyone else having problems, if you get a reply from Apple post it here please.
Timo had the problem as well and finally it downloaded after trying 10 times or so. Can anyone else confirm it finally works after trying several times?
