^^ Yeah, Apple recommends that you reboot your iPhone once in a while... and its healthy for the battery too.

Something interesting I've noticed...this is the only app I've ever used that still continues to run after you double click the home button and pull up the background apps at the bottom.

The game should pause while pulling up the background menu, yet it doesn't.

A couple of observations: the game sometimes requires you to reset your device, in order to deal with control lags and framerate drops. But a reset does fix the problem, at least for a while.

And is it just me, or are the Retro levels impossible to beat? The multiple steps do not work well with touchscreen controls.

Otherwise, loving the game, and this is coming from someone who never plays runners.

Can someone tell me what the exact difference is between the easy, medium, and hard settings?
    They don't feel much different.

There is a big difference. While the general level design and running speed are identical, there are FAR more obsticles to deal with when increasing the difficulty. Playing the same level on all 3 difficulty modes makes that 1 level feel like 3, because you'll need to identify the new hazards and adjust your timing accordingly.

Hadn't experienced any crashes before tonight.
I've now experienced 4 random crashes in the past hour.
    Playing on iOS 6x - iPad 2.

Devs: want to get an idea of how much of a delay is actually in your controls? Load up Rayman Foesta Run -- that's the way a jump should respond -- Spoiler: its instantaneous.

    Yeah, it's weird...
I played the game for probably around 5 hours with no crashes.
Then I had 4 crashes in less than an hour.
Since then I've played an hour with none.

I can't duplicate any of tem, so I suppose it could be a memory thing.
I'm emailing the devs my crash log.

description says nothing beyond shop stuff so that's sort of disappointing if that's all it is. I couldn't play it, lag was annoying on my 5s

Hey everyone! As mentioned above, an update just recently went live. It adds in Game Center and fixes the shop.

That said, we're also hoping to release an update SUPER SOON with some control tweaks/general optimizations. Keep an eye out!

In the meantime, please keep letting us know about any issues you're encountering with the game. We're listening!

Only Game Center and shop was fixed. I think an update for controls and framerate are on the way.
(Fingers crossed) as this is nearly unplayable on harder settings/levels.

One cute side effect to having devs partake in these threads is that we get fed tidbits and morsels that are typically vague out of the deal. They never outright admit a bug, and will only refer to it in an opaque way. I understand why they have to be, I guess. I am sure a bug like the lag that happens to some people but not others is quite a nasty thing to fix. They may not even be able to reproduce it themselves.

When apple broke compatibility to a lot of apps with iOS 7, I am sure the tweaks to get around that stuff gave some devs for iOS serious migraines. Digging back into code that has already been deemed finished is nasty business. This game has some fairly swank graphics, and the control scheme was likely given a very small piece of pie.
