Wow... that is seriously UNBELIEVABLE! Completing a game with that much quality in 7 days is truly amazing!
Just read through this thread...unbelievable progress!!! Maybe I should write a song a day for game music in honour?! Great work!
@Xyo: Arrrggghhh, my head is swelling! heeh, thanks mate @flybird: 22nd July (assuming apple acceptance) @Jdragoon19: see note to Xyo @Gavin: if you do, be sure to post a few of them here for us all to enjoy
Hehe, dont worry, I havent forgotten. I have to wait until it's accepted by Apple before I can get codes.
I hope this game does well in the AppStore! It has some really nice polish and looks very high quality IMO. I'm just wondering, but what does everyone else think about the game?
One thing that looks awesome with this game is how you have to use the enemies, not just having them taking a joyride or trying to kill you. (say... i thought i saw one with a white flag... ). But hopefully you didn't take that out. The part I saw with this was the spikes and that yellow monster. This game is going to be awesome. Just wish this released sooner
Hehe, thanks. I have to say, I dont think there are enough varied enemy types. I will correct that in a future update after I get some feedback.
Yes, BlibBlob has just been accepted on the store. It will be released on 20th July. Now it is time for all out marketing. If anyone else would like to help, please take a look here. I appreciate any help I can get. Also, I will be sending the promo codes to the people I promised in the next few days. Thanks everyone who has had an interest in this project. Cheers!
I have just uploaded a trailer for the game What do you think? Now I have to make a webpage Note: it's not actually "on sale now" It will be on sale from the 20th
If I was nitpicking I'd say the big characters cover too much of the video when they pop in, but since I'm a fan I'll just say sweet job and I can't wait to get my hands dirty on this game. Especially keen on how the differents work out.
Hi Acumen Thanks for the feedback. I am still learning how to make trailers. Hopefully they will get better with time. And I will be sending you your promo code very soon. Expect it within a week. Cheers
Well the trailer itself is awesome. That's just bullshit to mention something like that - from my side I think I missed a word on my post there. Wanted to say I'm very interested in seeing the environments variety Just wish more people would reply to this thread - feels quite lonely sometimes around in here. Everyone just looking for their own stuff.
Is the music in the trailer representative of that in the game? Do the enemies have varying attacks and patterns other than left/ right, up/ down? Any boss fights or do you simply avoid them as obstacles in the level? How responsive are the controls compared to other platformers like League of Evil and Robot Wants Kitty. Do the virtual onscreen controls and the touch area the right size?
Hi arta. Thanks for your interest. * The music is one of the tracks used in the game. * Currently the enemies have fixed, predictable behaviour and there are no boss battles. However, that may change in future updates. * The controls are very responsive and the button images do represent the touch area. There is also another control mode using tilt to move and tap to jump with no button images to clutter the screen. Cheers
