Great to see you guys working with the original Flash game developers. I can easily see Interactive Buddy at #1!
That's exactly what were doing. Flash ports are extremely hot on the App Store right now, which is an already hot market. If PocketMonkey beats us to the chase, we're going to be putting the effort into something better.
Looks like were going forward with the project. Unfortunately, there will be a few missing features upon release. Sound, skins and modes to be specific. We'll be able to make it all up though and more if it turns out a success. Estimated completion: 1.5 months.
True. We were planning for a release of an Interactive Buddy with a little bit of the Pocket Monkey touch behind it. If BulletDev is up to the challenge, I can respect the competition!
If u guys wanna then go ahead in all for it. I asked tge creator if IB who is also workin on Second version about makin an iPhone game and he said it was a definate goal. I asked him on facebook and also sent him a link to this forum... Yeah lol let the rAce begin or do a collab( which I think is better)
Such nostalgia. We canned the Interactive Buddy project when BulletDev informed us that they were close to completing their version back in may. Alas, we were deceived. Very clever. Yet is this project worth reviving?
YES, PLEASE!!! I want to believe that BulletDev will get this done but I think that we have all waited long enough.
Doesnt look like BulletDev is working on it anymore. There site says Bullet Skater for 2010 and the replacement for this is iWeed. http://www.bulletdev.com/
I canned production on Interactive Buddy when I figured out PocketMonkey was working on a clone! Well... Guess it's up for grabs! In regards to Bullet Skater, I feel extremely bad for promising a release so many times. We actually lost a huge amount of work in a hard drive failure, and just last week, Chillingo decided that the game didn't fit in with they're new roadmap. Because of these unfortunate events, the game had been on and off, and now on once again. Were finally adding a tilting character and flowing backdrops, and we hope to (actually) have the game out early 2010. I don't blame anyone for losing interest, but nevertheless, the game will be released!
So you stopped because you thought that they were doing it and they stopped because they thought you were doing it...... wow. Since you guys are doing Bullet Skater, let PocketMonkey have this one, or collaborate. I prefer the latter.
