http://wireless.ign.com/articles/986/986169p1.html It'd be hilarious if a Devil May Cry port hit the iPhone before the PSP after all those old years of hype. And funny that it might run into or trail Vampire Origins. Capcom would seriously have to step their game up though, their Megaman port was atrocious. Haven't gotten around to playing RE Degeneration yet to see how it is.
I'm dieng for a good Devil May Cry game for the iPhone. The first and only DMC game I played and finished was DMC4 and it was amazing!
Please give me Powerstone 2, best Capcom game ever! Plus i think it would work out perfectly on the iphone...
i like street fighter 4, i dont think that will come but maybe an older version of Street fighter, that would be great!
Street fighter would be awesome. I posted an idea for a control scheme a couple days ago on the upcoming games thread i think the thread was your game here
I will probably be disappointed, but I'd love to see ports of Breath of Fire and Ace Attorney series, as well as full-length ports of early, more adventure-oriented Resident Evils. All this other action-platformer stuff won't work too well on the platform, IMHO.
From IGN's article: "Or could Capcom instead use the relatively low costs of creating iPhone games to try out new ideas and characters before graduating them to consoles?". Thats an interesting idea: use the iPhone as a cheap, low-cost testing ground for unique/new ideas that, if successful could be then developed into console games. Its much more likely they'll bring existing franchises over, so i'd love to see versions of: Zack & Wiki - would be perfect for iPhone's touch screen... Resident Evil 1, 2 & 3 ports - either d-pad or accelerometer control of character. Devil May Cry - port the original! Onimusha Street Fighter 2 Final Fight (2.5D remake, sorta like Kroll, but better)
I doubt that they will create new stuff specifically for iPhone. The only "original" content you might see is a new game based on an existing franchise (i.e. a new Resident Evil game, designed specifically for iPhone). Ports and/or remakes are much more likely though.
The original stuff is bound to be much shorter and shallower than ports of full-length games from other platforms. Of course, I have it easy - I never played any Capcom games and would love to sample some classics. Not the action-platformers and beat-them ups though, but more story-oriented stuff.
Finally, another Monster hunter fan It would be impossible, too many buttons Monster hunter is the olny reason I use my psp still
Monster Hunter would not be impossible to pull off on iTouch/Phone. It would "just" have to be re-imagined for the device, which would make it different than the other games in the series. But a iTouch/Phone specific Monster Hunter, one built from the ground up for the platform, keeping in mind what it can and cannot do, is not out of the realm of possibility.
it would be soooo stupid if they tried to bring monster hunter to the iphone im not saying the game is bad the monster hunter games are some of my favourite im just saying there would be too many buttons on screen
you´re right, too many buttons and they can´t make it as big as the psp version im happy they´ll release monster hunter freedom unite for psp in june then i´ll only play it and nothing else
its just you lol honestly id like a street fighter remix and some megaman games(like megaman legends 2 anyone), a Devil May Cry port would be awesome or even a spin off or something megaman x ect ect megaman zero games from the gba? im down with that breath of fire so many possible ideas oh capcom dont fail me
