Level 18 Windows fast relaunch glitch Today I found a glitch in Level 18 which is similar to the wall glitch. It is also a relaunch glitch. The ball takes a different path through the first screen if you relaunch before the ball reaches the target cat. It seems to be a quantum effect due to uncertainty relation. Therefore I name that glitch Schrödinger's glitch.
Level 18 glitch analysis I could reproduce your finding. Exhibit 1 shows arrows with two different paths: normal one: 643 relaunch: 607 Exhibit 2 shows arrows with two different paths: normal one: 642 relaunch: 606 You will note that the relaunch path seperates behind frist screen and is lower than the normal path. So my theory is that the slowdown factor of the first screen is on relaunch higher when the ball passes through. Exhibit 3 shows arrows with two different paths: normal one: 639 relaunch: 637 Exhibit 3 does not contradict the theory. It looks like that the paths seperate not until behind the second screen. But on closer look one can see that the relaunch path is one tiny bit lower than the normal one already behind the first screen. That effect is only visible when you switch fast between the screenshots of the two paths. The paths are so close that the effect is not visible in the overlay shown here. Exhibit 4 shows arrows with two different paths: normal one: 636 relaunch: 641 Exhibit 4 is important. Again the paths are very close. In the overlay you will note the first visible seperation in the second arrow. But on closer look the relaunch path is again one tiny bit lower than the normal one already behind the frist screen. So why is exhibit 4 important? Because it shows that you may get a higher result on relaunch. My high score on level 18 is 643 (actually there are numerous 643 positions). I spent some hours to find higher results by moving the arrows around - without luck, though. I do not know whether the known best 650 on pappnase's table uses the relaunch glitch. Even though you may get 650 without the glitch, the glitch may provide even higher results. You gave me some new hope that I may increase my high score. Thank you Jenny!
level 18 2 paths: same result..... and I think it's a quick relaunch? with your last screen, try first arrow like 2-3 pix down and left and second one like 7-8 pix down and left
Been there, done that. It is hard to suprise you wiz. And yes, it's relaunch. Knowing that I have to go through some level again.
As a newbie I do not expect to make major discoveries quickly. But I am still hungry. And the knowledge of wiz is not demotivating but a stimulus. Your Feynmann diagram lookalike overlays are impressive. Today I will check another glitch I noticed lately. The glitch is not described in this thread yet. Maybe the glitch is not useful. Maybe I am on a well-trodden path again. Maybe it leads to something new.
Transfer scores to new Idevice? I ordered a Iphone 5 and would like to transfer the scores from the old device. I have read in this thread that some players (feetza??) had problems by using itunes and had to start again with low score. Is there another solution?

If you're a bit technically competent, then look at programs like iExplorer. They don't require jailbreaking! They are meant to work within Apple's existing boundaries.

Well, i am playing this very addictive game since half a year after it was released, found this forum with its lovely people about one year later, was / got addicted to CP - by the way are there new levels, DG, please - and luckily found new points. Which was the trigger to sign in to this forum to share the new points, got tremendous help and support, hints and more... thanks for this. So, i have still not reached the max but i am working on it... cross your fingers!
