Man. I love it except for the very traditional JRPG music. I'd love to see the same footage with 30 Seconds to Mars' song "Vox Populi" or "Closer to the Edge" or even Imagine Dragons' "Bleeding Out." Might edit it just for my enjoyment. Nope. Definitely "Vox Populi." And I'm editing it now.

Alright, THIS quick edit is close to how I heard it in my head the first time I watched it. Got myself a little more excited for this turn in the series. Wish I had more time to cut up their shots and other footage of theirs. I could actually cut something with fx and more graphics. Oh well, back to the videos that pay the bills.
Tbh I don't like what I'm seeing,The art style is just generic fantasy one not even close to chaos rings 2's mature and subtle one.The graphics look heinous in 3d not even ps2 quality,Character models,lightning,textures and specially resolution just look awful. Chaos rings games have always had decent gameplay they may not have all that strategic depth but they were a good allround package,this just looks like a huge mistake.
.......... sigh..... I guess I'll just put all my hopes into one basket.. named CR3. I'm so dense, I just realized it's supposed to come out this month! SO EXCITED. Does anyone remember if the old ones were simultaneous releases or the English version comes out later? And I actually like the art. It's different I know (the darker theme was incredibly cool), but I still love it. The artist draws characters beautifully and CR is the best iOS original RPG. I have 95% certainty it will be amazing as the past 3 games ALL were. Loved them all. I want more. I hope it stays lengthy since I don't want to beat it too quick
Yeah, that hands on video kind of bummed me out. IAP and random purchases on top of a premium price is kind of a let down. I was buying into the new look after watching footage. But hopefully we can finish this one without having to invest in IAP. Still have to finish CR2 though!
I would totally finish the amazing CR2 if they freakin fixed it for ios8. Same for TWEWY. It's been so long and still no word. I hope they're taking this long to turn it into wide screen or something..
Good news is that they added on the app description that they are working on the iOS8 fixes for those titles.
That is good news. Though, it took them a long time to fix Chrono Trigger for iPhone 5 screens. But then for iOS 8 I think they pushed that fix first. So, if they put it in the description, then at least we know they'll get it out. Might be a while though.
I saw that but that's been there since ios8 was released. I've given up hope of them updating it soon and looking forward to cr3 hopefully simutaneously releasing here this month.
So this MAY be released in 14 hours in Japan? I think I read online that CR2 was a simultaneous release so I'm hoping for that in this case. If it only releases in Japan today, I'm going to be extremely sad / mad. Edit: Wow expensive. 2800 yen it looks like. I'm still buying it. Just hope they don't have IAP for getting card packs... ughh.. At that price there shouldn't be any IAP at all.
