Are we missing much story wise without the anime cutscenes?

How are the controls in this port? Can you touch commands and enemies or do you control de menu selection with the virtual stick?

You swipe to select targets and then tap. I don't think you have to tap on the actual enemy because there's a pointer above them indicating which one is selected. Also you swipe in menus and tap to select. I personally like the controls. It's not like Final Fantasy VII where they overlaid a controller. It's definitely been made to work on touch screens.

Yeah, it's fine. Updated to iOS 9 so it's already 64-bit compatible.

I could play this this on emulation but I bought this. Happy to buy the official games but just wish more old classics would come out

I have really wanted secret of evermore to get re-released that was an overlooked gem that didn’t get the recognition it deserved. Man, I remember back in like 99 when I was in 8th grade and I loaned my copy to a friend and his frickin mom sold it along with all his other games for drug money. I never got over that, because SoE is just as if not rarer than SoM in terms of the actual SNES cartridges.

This is the only pre-3D Square title I haven't bought on iOS. Have the game breaking bugs like losing all your techs and never being able to access certain attack combos been addressed?

I've avoided this because the issues I've read about seem like showstoppers.

It says there are new graphics, and it's been upgraded, but it's still the phone version, right? It states that it has "Graphics optimized especially for the iPhone/iPod touch.", so I'm assuming it would be a no-go on my iPad 12.9" pro still.

Am I wrong? (please let me be wrong).

Pretty sad. Oh well, I guess next month all apps will be forced to update their apps to scale to the iPhone X’s aspect ratio so that’s there. Finally Hearthstone will see an update as well I guess.

People are raising hell on Steam about the port of this there. So the question is, is the updated version all that much better? Heard the mobile version was indeed awful when it first came out.
