I really enjoy Dirt 3 so took notice of the game thread. Played a few tracks and have to say its a really good game and if known I would have gone with the $5 asking price. Controls are perfect and I can except the graphics for what they are. I'm going to really enjoy this one too as I've got a Rally racer now on the iPad!
What the heck? Can the developer just pick a price and stick with it, for awhile at least! Four price changes in the past three days?! I've tried to buy this game on a couple of separate occasions - at ANY price - but I can't, because I get a message saying "This item is being modified. Please try later." So I'm TRYING to give them my money, but because of their silly price-changing games, I can't!
Yes I noticed that , really weird that price is juggling between $1.99 and $4.99 point so much in last 2 days. So there have been 2 sales that lasted for couple of hours and boosted their App Store rank and then price switched back to higher one, hope this was a mistake from developer part and not a cheap strategy to squeez out more money.
...and it's back up to $4.99. I'd hoped they'd keep it low through the weekend. Then again, I applaud the developers for resisting the IAP/freemium model and might pay full price. It's funny how many wouldn't balk at a quality $5 pint, but they'll hesitate on a decent iOS app at the same price.
??!? Friend of me picked it up this morning for 1.69 (Germany). Now I'm back from work and it's 4.49 again.
Is it me, or is Codemasters playing a different version of "the $5 on a fishing line" prank...they're letting some people grab it, but pulling it before others
WTF?!? This is crazy. I don't know what kind of marketing monkey is in charge there but the only thing they have to do now is to make it free for a minute between 5 and 5:01 am.
