You get 4 stat points per level, and there is no apparent cap for your stat scores. I've added Vit to all of my characters so that they can take some hits. At lv 99, my Pochi has 13 str, 292 dex, 6 int, and 111 vit. He crits on most of his attacks and has 4700-5200 hp depending on equips, so he can take some punishment if I don't end my fights fast enough. Aside from that, I can't disagree with what sgcc1 wrote.
Some players do add VIT to Pochi and Ann (first 2 characters you get) and it does have its benefits. But as soon as you recieve Heine (white mage) later on in the game, I would advise you not to bother. If you really want to increase HP you can always just attach cards to your equipment instead.

Found a Unique This is like my 4th unique found in the game so far (40hrs. Yeah, sucks) with 3 already listed in the unique list. It is found in the Forgotten Ruins Ancient Dungeon dropped by one of the 'Yellow' named mummies. I'm still looking for Dragon Scales (not Dragon King Scales) if anyone has any to spare.
