I'm assuming this is your first beta (or your first beta with TestFlight). So, you have to accept the invitation from the devs through TestFlight. This is not actually downloading the build though. The devs send you the build through TestFlight after you've accepted the invitation, and that could be whenever they want to send it.

Hey everyone. Just a heads up- beta testing email and build were sent out. Note that we couldn't include everyone this time, our testflight tester list is maxed out and I apologize for that. We had to prioritize people according to devices and other criteria, so if you didn't get an invite it wasn't personal by any means. If you would like to test for us in the future (perhaps on our next game or Crow DLC) you can send an email to [email protected] and we can try to get you in for that. Thank you all! Just keep in mind that if you are testing the game you are agreeing to our NDA. You can of course say high level things about it, but no details publicly. I did read the NDA, don't worry. (possibly unlike some people) It's actually refusing to install for me at the moment... It downloaded and a message came up saying "Crow Beta could not be installed at this time". I let it retry, it got to ~75% installing and the same message came up again. Letting it try a third time, then I give up. Could it be because I upgraded to 5.1 since registering my device with TestFlight and accepting the invitation?

So you couldn't send builds out to everyone who received invites, or couldn't send out invites to everyone. It's not showing for me, so I was wondering.
