Just tossed over 30 in there to see how performance was doing and silky smooth even with all the shader action =).. Feeling pretty good about the new Soul_Engine. Hopefully soon I will get some videos of level one coming together. =)
Thank you both! Now more On Topic: in the features, you said that the game will run only in A4 devices (A5, future A6, etc.), because they are the only ones which have OpenGL 2.0 support. But could my iPod run the game without framerate drops with all those monsters on-screen? Or you disabled features like shadows for A4 devices?
yes for sure everything wil lbe customizable as with all my games.. Except this time the controls will not be able to be moved and saved at custom.... just not worth the trouble. The testers will beat those into shape
wow!!!!! this looks so amasing! i really cant wait for this one!!!!!! it almost look to good to be true! im all in! instabuy for me whene it comes out! i havent followed this one so i dont know that mutch! so ill ask! is there any ETA yet? ps....minecraft pocket edition, seems to have a serius rival here!
Thanks you so much the compliments are rocket fuel, If you want to know more press the blog link below I update that more then once a day. When I first got the first person side of the game going last night it even surprised me. I cannot wait to see this baby done and tweaked. No real ETA as this is not my day job. However, it is getting really close to the alpha stage where I take my really close knit team of developers and start forming it into the best game possible on the tech. If I had to guess a couple months to release but it could be more or less no telling it has to be the best it can be first =) repost video as it went to a new page (easier for people to find)
Wow that looks awesome! Didn't even know it had a first person component in it! Now I'm really excited for it!
thank you so much for the quick replay! ill be lokking forward to this game, i guess i can wait a couble of month i keep watching that video, and i cant believe you put in first person view! its so awesome! on a scale of 1 through 10 this game is a clear 12
Thank yall =)! Rocket fuel I tell you <=).. This game will be what you want it to. If you do not want to possess one of your minnions you do not have to. But if you do you can be right there with your soldiers in combat making wiser decisions then they would. First you surly want to spend some time building your base and defenses (usually) then go off exploring and destroying the enemy. Sometimes just trying to survive the onslaught from the dimensional rips...
Update Video: Here is me editing a level a little, then possessing a minion, using his weapon a little, checking my shoes out, and then releasing the minion. I fire his gun but there is an animation glitch (That will be fixed tonight)
I absolutely loved Dungeon Keeper and from a first glance this seems to really capture the essence of it. I can't wait ^^
Thank you sir and I did to that is why I am creating Cursed Realms =) Here is a shot where I have taken control in first person a mutant baby user..It's attack is a green poisonous puke and a bloody self destruction. When possessing this creature you are forced to scurry around pretty low to the ground as you can see =)... Just simple non planned or staged shots running around as an imp =)...
This is looking amazing Ryan. Day one purchase easily. Love the idea of possesing your minions and moving into a first person gameplay. The in game models are an improvement over your previous work. You're getting better ;-).
