Anyone know how to gold trophy Tokugawa castle?

There's a stage where a wizard is on an island that I can't seem to figure out. Mainly because I have no idea how to walk on water?

Using a whip or staff can hit him if you are approaching him. That works with anything partially submerged in water.

EDIT: My mistake. That does not work in this case due to placement of a barrier. A magnet should work. Description of a magnet says that it pulls in enemies and treasures.

Trophys?

I don't understand what affects the trophies. Sometimes I get silver although I feel the run was perfect. Is it the chests, time, amount of items used or what? I always have a perfect path.
