It's still crashes on the iPad 1 at the leaderboard in EVERY single game, which is a bummer. Taito should fix it asap, otherwise great game (on the iPod).
Game is awesome, visually stunning. Had a blast played all original and SP for all endings but cannot unlock Origin fighter. Workings on missions right now. Great job on the game!
looking at some gameplay videos i would say the game is quite easy, are there any challenge on highest difficulty like in cave games? from this thread it looks like people like it because of visuals and overall presentation of the game.
Yup game starts at easy then normal then hard and if you like it tough choose origin fighter that has no burst.
I have had a couple of crashes like that on my iPod... but it's pretty random for me... sometimes it does, sometimes it doesn't... I"ve been able to unlock all of the ships on my iPod, as well as my iPad (but it's an iPad 2, and I haven't had any crashes there...) =o/
well bought it and would say it's a good game but it's over hyped on ta. about production values and design elements. i mean they could use different and better font in game and for ui because it just does not look like retina now. controls and visuals are good and work fine. some levels feel quite empty and shallow simply because of large pauses and the lack of enemies. but the biggest problem i have with this game is like almost always gc leaderbord. why the f the default leaderboard is for one level, why it's not for a whole run? overall it's good game and the difficulty on hard is challenging but it's not the best shmup for ios.
well if thinking about features and overall value i would say ds, but probably ddpr is my favorite shmup game.

See.. I don't put bullet hell into shmup games, as there's SUCH a difference between games like DDPR and 1945...
well, it is actually sub genre of shmups but fair enough, there is big difference. from the perspective of normal shmups it's probably the best one on ios, which is actually quite f up by absolutely ridiculous choice for gc leaderbords and especially the default.
it's like few runs and i am at the 11th spot in H default leaderbord, noone is playing for highscore or european leaderbords are so messed up? and something else about highscores. it seems like the most tricky part is destroying parts of bosses with burst. simply because the score will depend on the burst multiplier too. it's quite challenging because the is no hp meter during the boss fights.
What's your GC ID Eev? European leaderboards are clearly empty... Not that I'd pose any real threat given my hum... lack of talent...
