Finally started playing. Absolutely gorgeous game. And I love that you can look around more and admire the graphics, the way you couldn't in Infinity Blade. But...um... Why didn't I even *try* to climb out the broken windows? When you tap on them, they just say it's too bad you can't be outside...but why not??? At least say there's a spell on them or something.
haven't grabbed this before, but i have the free version which is also a full game, now my question is: what's the difference?
Why inapps in the paid version? Usually paid versions don't have inapps, usually that is. So why buy the paid version?
They screwed over all the people that bought the game initially with making it free and infested with IAPs. But they sort of backtracked coz people got mad and they made and put back a half-assed "full version" still with lots of IAPs for the ppl they screwed over to begin with.
More paid apps have iapps nowadays than paid apps that don't (probably). Why? Many reasons...to speed up progress, to make the game playable ("paymium"), trinkets, expansions, cheats, etc. For the Devs/Publishers, it comes down to maintaining a revenue stream after the first couple weeks. Sometimes it's greed. In the case or Dark Meadow, it isn't required. And not the "not required" lime you sometimes get from Devs, when they actually mean it isn't required to complete the game if you put in 500 hours.
oh that sucks! seen that happen many times or adding ingame ads, or pay for redues ugh! mabe wait for $0.99, im sure it'll drop again! What differs from paid vs free? No Ads? But i heard from a friend who had The Pact (freemium version) the ads are only on the pause menu, but dont quote me on that. On the preium version you also get freebies worth over $6 (i think, since the bonuses were designed for the premium which was worth $6), so that means, if you intend to get the freemium and spend a couple bucks on IAP, you'd be better off buying the Premium at $3 instead.
