OMG, this is what I said the other day before this update came out. No one seemed to agree with me then, except Madman.
Just bought the game. It's becoming my favorite horizontal endless runner now . However, I think I still need some explaining of the game's mechanics eg. transform, mana and the stats. Does the female IAP character offer any gameplay changes? Or just cosmetic?
She has higher base stats. and different power when transformed into an angel. She can continuously jump, not like the vampire who can fly by holding the jump button, but you can keep pressing jump, like kirby's float or samus's space jump. Don't know what explaining you need but I'll give it a try. 3 red crystals means you can transform, wolf can break runes without attacking, bat can fly (hold jump), angel can fly (keep jumping) but while transformed you get a shit load more fireballs coming your way, something new since the update. without mana you cannot attack or fly (hold jump a 3rd time). gain mana by attacking runes (purple things) or picking up potions. other powerups are sprint boost, jump boost, golden protection crystal and if you are lucky, extra heart. Did I get it all?
...Mana usage is free when flying when youre transformed. But you cant fly if you transformed into Optimus. You'll need a lot more upgrades for that.
Jump - Jump Height Speed - forward speed (useful in multiplayer) Agility - affects descent speed Mana - increases mana used in flights and dash attacks
Thanks a lot! I would never have guessed that agility governs descent speed. Btw, mana decrease rather than increase mana used right?
You see the blue bar on the top left? The blue is the mana. The Higher your mana stat, the longer that Blue line is. Max Mana fills up the red with Blue.
That's what I thought Btw any tips for earning money other than perform well + 2x coin boost? Like, should I go for 3 gold coins or 6 silvers?
I always grab coin boost and extra heart so I can run that little bit more. gold coins r 60 point and silver are 30 points with coin boost, so in your example...doesnt matter. I would suggest saving all your cash at the start to get the 20000 necklace that attracts coins, then you collect loads without having to worry about jumping for them, especially useful when using the wolf as the wolf is short in height so runs under a lot of coins.
Yes, I think it is the best useful equipment. And we have added a new effect to show "attract coins", so it will become most beautifulas well.
Nice runic effect. There are times i move as fast as coins and coins cant keep up with me. You think there's a chance you can increase coin movespeed when it is attracted?
This and this. Effect looks cool, and I'm too fast for coins. Also is the crazy amount of fireballs here to stay? I enjoyed it more when I was pushing myself and my reactions, not hoping to god that a fireball doesnt come along just as I jump over spike (it usually does) or gliding way up to avoid 5 at a time, only to fall back down onto spikes.
First version wasnt as crazy - required skill and reactions, not pot luck. since the update Ive been lucky once and made it to 5000
