That's not fair. There would have to be another category: Dead Trigger is an ok game, has some of the best graphics and framerates on ios, but is far from a tech demo.
Far from best framerates. Far. Far. Far. MC4 easily trumps it there, and moreover looks better IMO. Just needs some AA/res bump for the iPad 4

Look, seriously I don't argue with the fact that half or less of you folks don't like DT, that's ok, it's a taste choice, but calling it a tech demo is not an opinion, it's a lie, deprived of factual background, cause it is not a tech demo in any way possible. There's not one single comment that has validly proven that is a tech demo, and if you manage to twist the definition to a point so Dead Trigger fits as a tech demo, Then you incidentally also put other games in that category, games that are way more fit for the wide definition of tech demo some of you use, like nova 3, Real racing, Infinity Blade or fifa 13 etc etc. Love it or hate it, but it's not a tech demo.

Let us see, you folks call DT a tech demo cause: 1. Good graphics and "no gameplay"... when it actually has deeper gameplay and more features than Infinity Blade, Minigore Zombies, New york Zombies (both of them), CoD (both) Infinity project (both) and MANY more. 2. "It's used to show how pretty unity can look"... There have been games before DT that already did that, and one ACTUAL tech demo called "Angry bots" (not by MFG), If DT wasn't that pretty to look at, you guys wouldn't even call it a tech demo. In fact, the definition for Tech demo is that is a piece of work, some times UNFINISHED, that serves the purpose of showcasing technology, DT doesn't do that and it's not unfinished, There have been titles that were actually used to show technology both in software and hardware such as NOVA 3, Fifa 13, Real Racing, etc etc, therefore, they fit the definition better that DT. Sorted, there's no foundation to call DT a tech demo other than the pure crave for troll bait. And calling it a tech demo just means you want to troll, I'm not against denigration society or anyone who doesn't like DT, that's your own taste choice, but calling it a tech demo is a fallacy and it's just old now. I played the game, but I couldn't find any gameplay. Maybe devs forgot to include it into my version of the game... Missions are repetitive, dull, soulless. Zombies are all the same. All maps are very, very similar. There is no multiplayer. There is no skill required. There is no strategy. There is no story. At least that's what I see when I play DT. Graphics are at the very bottom of my priority list, so maybe that's the reason. Deeper gameplay? What's the deeper gameplay? Please tell me.
