To be honest, I haven’t played it. All I know is that it was divisive, though it ended up with an 85 MetaCritic score. Some people thought it was a self-indulgent mess from a developer who was given too much leeway to be weird. But many people ended up loving it. I’m wondering if the social component will actually be included.
@squarezero I think it will. On the bottom of the game description it says, “ Connect with players around the world with Social Strand System. It also says cross platform will be available, so save data could be shared with all Apple devices,it will also have controller support it says it was featured in best game for controller on the bottom.
Nice a release sale! So just to let anyone know if you pre-ordered it earlier for $40 Apple should now charge you the lower price of the two on release which is $19.99. It’s stated in the Apple Developer’s Support page.
It’s a game experience that I’ll think back on for years and years to come. Really this is one of those games that folks get in to the ‘are games a art form’ debate a lot. And its truelly community driven. I remember reading that and thinking ‘ugh i hate playing with others’ but within an hour of play when I saw just how the community system works I was 105% hooked. Pretty much if you place a ladder, a rope, build a road, anything that affects the terrain it is uploaded to the games servers (if playing online). When other players log in to their games there is a random chance your contribution to the map appears in their game to help them along their delivery routes. If they upvote your contribution, it appears in more folks sessions down the road. And vise versa for what appears on your map. This game is 4 thumbs up from me. Oh and the bad guys in this game are trully terrifying. Don’t want to spoil to much but this game is excellent.
I don’t think so. If you talking about the pricing rule I posted above, it’s been around since the pre-order feature existed. No, The Developers just decided to have a pre-order sale is all. Or they always planned to have a sale during pre-order but forgot to set it the first time. Anyhow, I’m just saying that if anyone purchased the preorder before the sale happed you should also be getting the sale price because of the rule above. The main purpose for the pre-order price rule (since your are technically charged on release date only) is to prevent developers from pricing it low during pre-order than raising price much higher just before the release date, that would be predatory.
