Thank you for the response. I am happy to hear that it will be a more complete game as far as the story goes. I always felt that the original got a few updates but then got forgotten before it was truly finished. But, the gameplay was great and definitely made up for it.
StealthDawg, unlikely unless we have many iPad Retina users. We don't want to simply just scale it up. If we want to do that, we'll redraw all graphics from scratch (and have to throw away the existing ones). Everything is hand drawn. So that's a huge undertaking and will take at least probably half a year. We'll have to see first if the demand can support the cost to pay the artists to do such an undertaking. iCloud support will be added but not in the first update (June 4th). We'll do all the necessary testing before we release it. Jibba, glad to hear that you like the gameplay. We have taken a very careful approach to make sure the gameplay in DC2 is as fun, if not better, than in DC1. But don't just take my word for it. Wait for the reviews!
I got to ultima with no iap ultima r200+ on some stages. Just looked up melwen lvl was 798. Grinded it all out. And can tell you I didn't do any stage 470 times to clear a stage...
Well, you know, after just having bought the unpolished but really quite good TBS LostStar Tactics, plus with the promise of much good stuff swelling the App Store tomorrow night (Empire of the Eclipse, possibly Pocket Heroes, and games which I can't even call to mind right now), an Infinity Blade II update that offers fun for free, and a bank account which is uncommonly lonely and desolate at the moment... ...I still will purchase DC2 the very first moment I spot it in the App Store
I have a question. Will the archers be the wrecking ball of a unit that they were in the last game? I remember putting all of my time and money into making them more powerful.
