Like it but try adding a flick across levels in menu other than a left and right button.

Good thought, I'll look in to that after the next round of levels are done.

So I count 4 votes for the particle effect over the starburst... Any additional feedback?

BTW, what's about a particle effect if the bomb explodes? Or is that too CPU intensive (with more than one bomb)?

Considered this, or maybe some smoke trails on the shrapnel... there could be quite a bit on the screen at one time which could get chaotic when you are trying to precisely fire a bomb :)

    Doodle Bomb Tuesday!

    Hello all!

Well, it's "Doodle Bomb Sneak Peek Tuesday" again. Boy the weeks go by fast :). We have more exciting levels to tease, a couple of new screenshots and some additional information about the game. Biggest news is that we have decided to bump the number of missions for version 1.0 up to 50! We have lots of devious traps and sharpshooting challenges that need to be packed in there!

This will push back the launch a couple of weeks, but we think it will be well worth the additional content. Check the top of the thread for Video Sneak #3 and more information.

Please let us know your comments and questions.

    Thanks,
    Matt

You may want to edit the first post to say that to open the door, a bomb must hit the green switch. Without knowing this or without following the thread, the teasers can be a little confusing because its just a bunch of bombs blowing up all over the place :p

Hello... a few people have messaged me wanting to know if there is any more video content since the first post. I posted a new one to the top of the thread about a week ago that is a collage of missions. I have posted it again below for those who missed it :)

Next week will will start posting content that will hilight certain machines, enemies, techniques up until launch. Thanks for all the feedback,

    Matt

Hey all... I have posted a new video to the top of the thread and here as well. This will start a series of "Basic Training" videos that we will release each week to get players familiar with certain aspects of the game prior to release.

11/25 : Basic Training Video #1 - Throwing bombs and unlocking doors
12/2 : Basic Training Video #2 - Control panel types / activating machines
12/9 : Basic Training Video #3 - Simple and complex machines
12/16 : Basic Training Video #4 - Enemy soldiers and bounce mice

The first one here covers basic controls and objectives for each mission... it is set in a very simple scenario to get the main points across.

Let me know what you think of the videos and if anything needs better explanation.

Thanks and I hope everyone has a great Thanksgiving!

    Matt
