Yes! Alan Hazelden and Stephen Lavelle are amazing. Also love the witness. Haven't played Qrostar's games but I must check them out now!
My recommendations would be the modern masterpiece [the sequence] by Maxim Urusov, Shapist by QIXEN-P, Vaccine Case by Wataru Nakano, and Color Labyrinth by Minimalie.

I, for one, am amazed by the progress everyone has made on this game in terms of finding under par solutions. I'm quite busy and thus behind at this game, so I doubt I'll be able to catch up :) When I have the time I'll enjoy the rest of the levels (I'm up to world 3) at a casual pace. It's really quite a lovely game. Part of me wishes there were different shaped blocks other than 1x1 and 1x2. L shaped pieces and other shapes with "nooks" can offer a really unique dynamic in sokoban-likes. However I will say that these puzzles really are making the most of the shapes they use and there are some very clever levels here!

    Honki,

Those are great recommendations. I am embarrassed to say that I am not familiar with most of the titles you recommended. Are any of these games available on iOS? I did an online search and found various sources but unsure which ones from official.

OK, here are the official sources to all the games I mentioned in my previous post:

    Games by draknek: http://www.draknek.org/games/

    Games by Stephen Lavelle: http://www.increpare.com/
His magnum opus Stephen's Sausage Roll: http://store.steampowered.com/app/353540/
    or DRM-free: https://www.humblebundle.com/store/stephens-sausage-roll?hmb_source=search_bar

    The Witness: http://store.steampowered.com/app/210970/ or https://www.gog.com/game/the_witness

    Qrostar games: http://qrostar.skr.jp/index.cgi?lang=en

The games by Draknek are mostly puzzlescript browser games, so they should work fine on mobile (https://github.com/increpare/PuzzleScript is the 2D, tile based, Sokoban-like puzzle engine, also made by Lavelle (Thanks TheGreatEscaper!)
He's made a couple of amazing commercial games that have iOS versions, too. They're all listed on his site.

Stephen's Sausage Roll is Win/Mac/Linux, his other commercial game, English Country Tune, is on Steam and iOS.
    The Witness is Win only.
    Qrostar's games are Win only.

Also another game I'd like to add to the list is Tetrobot and Co by Submarine Games.
Its mechanics do get a bit more complex, but the actual level design is tight and brilliant.
    It's on PC and iOS.

I'd also recommend Snakebird to fans of this game (and vice versa)!

Yes definitely. I didn't mention it because it gets more complex than the other games rather quickly in regards to the sheer size of the levels.
That said, I, too, think Snakebird is genius :)

  8. Thank you!!!

We've been featured on iTunes and I think the fact that this thread has been alive and buzzing has played a big role! A special thanks to everybody who has helped optimize the Gold Times ~ I've been scratching my head a good deal the last few days, trying to recreate the solutions.

We're working hard on an update, with a new level pack and new mechanics ~ hopefully it'll be ready for release this weekend.

    Again, thanks everybody!

Yes, I didn't want to mention snakebird because it is a bit less compact than other games that have been mentioned. Still super clever :)

Something interesting Honki didn't mention is that the Puzzle Script engine Alan Hazelden uses for many of his games was in fact developed by Stephen Lavelle! I've made a few games using the engine and it's a really fun and accessible way to make devious puzzles.
In fact, duck roll could easily have a 'mini' puzzle script port... Anyone up for it? XD

Holymoly! This weekend already? YES! :) Also congrats for getting featured!

    Thanks, I edited my post.
And how cool would it be if Draknek, increpare, qrostar, submarine Games, Jon blow and the Duck Roll guys collaborated and made a puzzle game together?? One game to end all other games :)

I find the Duck in this game the most loveable character in a game this year, it's a very simple design but with great character.

  17. @Honki ~ I'm 4 levels short, I'll make them tomorrow and then we'll send it to AppStore Review. They don't take too long anymore, so the expansion should be out Monday or Tuesday (I'm not sure if they review during the weekend)

Haha that's the dream but I think each dev having a different style is something I like - I actually doubt that even just 3 of those people would be able to agree upon a cohesive project. Jon Blow in particular is very much a 'solo' puzzle designer.

Looking forward to the update!!! I'm working on a PuzzleScript DuckRoll inspired set of levels, I hope you don't mind :)
