Apparently it's true: http://www.capsulecomputers.com.au/2013/04/dungeon-hunter-4-to-be-released-april-11th-for-ios-and-android/
I'm amped! Obviously could be some ugly freemium nonsense but I'm hopeful that by having pushed freemium for so long Gameloft are on the improve with their model. They love to get the clones of the big selling games right. Order&Chaos, Nova and MC are all super polished and all represent huge selling franchises. After Diablo 3's success last year it wouldn't surprise me if they nail this. We will see. Could be another turd like DH3 but at least now we don't have to wait long to find out
I echo Deputy's thoughts but with less enthusiasm. The only F2P games Gameloft's ever done right is that zombie one and the DOTA clone (i think, only played it briefly though) and hopefully this is in the same vein. Not happy at all with the continued f2p though.
Hmm, i can't access the NZ Store for unknown reasons. Gettin the "no connection to itunes" all the time :/ damn Anyone already played it and can share some impressions? Pls? edit: nvmnd, didn't recognized the other thread
Its freemium! I can now understand how Gameloft works! Dungeon hunter 4 : IAP ? Checked Modern combat 5: IAP? Checked Asphalt 8: IAP? Checked NOVA 4 ( maybe): IAP? Checked -> Gameloft is becoming worse and worse
Well, consider battle dungeon: 99 of 100 players had pirated their game. Show them a way to make money doing what you want that is better than in your face IAP and they'll do it. I still feel bad for how easily IAP was avoidable in Punch Quest.
Yeah they've been blatantly ripping off other devs ideas for years and now it's our turn. They have always been moraless pricks but from time to time their products turn out fun
