I had actually stopped playing this for a bit, but with the addition of the run button and the increased difficulty I'm gonna pick it up again. Maybe not tonight, but definitely tomorrow.
haha I don't recall changing anything... shes just feeling more lonely tonight i guess! However, this reminds me that I may change the encounters to be more persistent the more Nights you survive.
haha my mistake! I just looked at the code again and I forgot to turn off some debug options... so yes, she was more aggressive in the build! I will push out a fixed version in the next few minutes
I don't have a fixed target but originally wanted to get this out within a month. However, since there seems to be a lot of interest in the beta... many suggestions and ideas have been added to the list of ideas (not all will go in). On that note, I have opened the beta test again as there have been a few new additions needing testing BETA TEST RE-OPEN A minor update to the build was also just pushed out to fix a bug in the animation system for Night #2
Wow so good. I love it when I blow out my candle and the ghost is standing there so creepy. 2 questions I noticed it says artifacts found I never found any am I just not growing in the right rooms or do I have to do something to find them? And do you still have the enemy vs candle thing? Cause my first playthrough with my candle lit I was killed in like 5 seconds.
I literally might have to stop beta testing this game because it is so flippin scary. I saw this scary flippin picture on the wall and I just couldn't do it anymore
Bro I won't lie, it's the scariest game I've played on ios. Very well done indeed. However, it's not THAT scary. It might make you jump, it'll certainly creep you out, but you're going a little overboard. I really kinda hope you're just joking, or overexaggerating for kmonkey's ego...
Yeah it's not fatal frame scary. Yet! Hint hint take tips. But it is the scariest game I've played so far on ios this and indigo lake. Only two ios games to make me creeped out.
Thanks to all the new beta testers! I have accepted all new beta testers to the group. I have also released the latest build with the following updates: - Fully featured stamina mechanic to stop you running endlessly - New random "Shock" event
Haha I play this game in the dark in my bed past midnight with earphones. It's just too much. I think right now it's fear of the unkown, as i haven't played properly for a few days now so I don't know exactly what the horrors are anymore. I've never actually played one of these combat less horror games so it's a little much for me haha. I was able to play just fine in the first build I played but boy, it's a lot scarier now. Haha you would think a hardcore Dead Space fan like me would have bigger gonads.
i LOVE Dead Space... the audio design in that game is fantastic! Great sound is far more scarier imo as you fear what you don't see
Glad to see a fellow Dead Space fan! Shall we discuss how awful DS3 was? But yeah the exploder's weird screeches and the stalkers' barks... Gosh good times. Mary's crying gets to me in this though haha
Hello beta testers! I've just uploaded the latest build with the following improvements: - Additional environment details & sound effects - Refined the stamina drain - Later "Nights" affect candle duration - Adjusted item spawns to reduce the potential number of candles per session - Occlusion Culling on the whole level to improve performance on lesser devices I am still hard at work making it more creepy and testing new ideas yet to be revealed (if you can handle it). As always, all feedback is welcomed!
Added a few more beta testers to the list and uploaded the latest build with the following additions: - Additional AI routines for the "Walker" for more intense and creepier situations - Adjusted lighting conditions - Adjusted stamina recharge timing
