iPad Dungeon Raid (by Fireflame Games)

I wish. I'm sure a DR2 would be front headlines everywhere. This game is a mobile classic. A modern version honestly should make a bit of money in premium.

Ha, I bought it a couple of days ago (ye ye, shame on me) and it runs without any flaws on iOS 9.01.
Well it crashed once when I tried to press the "edit" button but after that never again.

 

Yes, just re-downloaded (played many many hours years ago) and am really appreciating the different characters that can be unlocked (ie, I thought I knew how amazing this game was from a strategy point of view, but there's so much more!)

 

I emailed the dev just for the hell of it, though I'm certain that email is not being checked.
An update for this game would be like a mobile half- life 3.

Also I noticed his YouTube activity is as recent as a month ago.

 

If anyone ever does manage to contact him, or he ever reads this, I'd make an offer to buy all the rights to Dungeon Raid, if he doesn't want to do anything more with it.

I just realized I forgot to leave a review, so I left one. Maybe if more people do that he will see the sudden activity and update the game?

Well, since this one's bumped, might as well say this:

If you dont have Dungeon Raid yet, GET IT. It's a buck currently to promote their new game mentioned above. Dungeon Raid is one of those highly addicting match-3 RPG hybrids, and remains to be one of those with the most massive amount of depth involved in it in terms of the RPG mechanics.

There's unfortunately no more updates planned for Dungeon Raid. As much as I love it, it's a really old game at this point and would be very difficult to update for modern devices

 

As sad as this might make us feel, it is totally fair. I'd rather they focus on new game (like what we got today), even if I do love Dungeon Raid.

 

This breaks my heart. One can still hope for sequel if the dev is still around
