It submitted April 23 to the App Store, so I'm gonna guess we'll be lucky if it just slips in late next week.
This will be an epic release. It's almost a shame this boardgame is better then 3/4 of the 4x games we have on iOS. Having it on our iPad's is going to kick but, now I can play single player which is why I love these conversions so much
Yes exactly. I've never played the game, but HOLY MOSES IT LOOKS SO COOOOOOOL!!! I can't wait. I really can't. I'm glad I haven't followed it more, because I don't think I could contain my desire for as long as everyone else has.

Yes, hot-seat multiplayer and online multiplayer are both implemented. Of course you can also add AI players when playing a single or hot-seat game.
Sure 1v1 game (against AI) is about 30 minutes. Epic 6 players game (you plus 5 AIs) is about 1.5h - 2h.
Starbase Orion looks like Master of Orion, but Eclipse really looks unique. Never having played the boardgame, I wonder what it is that I am looking at in the screenshots...
It is discounted. Seven bucks for a hundred dollar game is a fantastic price reduction no matter how you look at it.
That mentality makes me so irritated. BDC BUSTS THEIR BUTTS putting a stupid amount of energy into making a hugely complex board that, like Farmer has said, runs in the hundreds new. Because of the depth here, this is a day one buy. This is going to be epic, and well worth the money. I understand the concern when buying a questionable action game, but board game conversions are not given enough credit and man, it's worth $7 Oh if only it was out now
