Yep, it's soooo close. We've just been dealing with some nasty bugs. The functionality is pretty much all there, but until these bugs are squashed, testing time is mostly wasted.
Hey guys We were at a local comic store promoting EMO last weekend, and a blogger/vlogger who was there did an interview with us. Here's the video with some gameplay! Unfortunately there was some bad glare on the screen, so it's not so easy to see. We're in the process of recording some gameplay video though, so we should have something to show you soon.
No, that was originally written/posted last Fall. We've had to push back the release since then. We currently don't have an estimated ship date, but we're pushing for the first half of 2013, possibly before summer.
Hey guys We recently started a weekly blog on our web site, written from the EMO's point of view, about how to be evil. It essentially talks about details of the game, including problems we're currently having in development, but in a lighthearted way. Hopefully it will be entertaining and a bit insightful at the same time! Let us know what you think! Regarding development, just thought I'd bring you up to date. We've been having some problems with gameplay that's taken us a couple of months to solve (mainly because our developers' time has been split among different projects). We think we finally have a solution (that involved redoing the grid), but it's not solid yet. Once this problems are gone, we'll finally be able to send out a build to our beta testers. Thanks for being so patient!
Hey everyone, Just wanted to give you a quick update on the game's development. We were having some issues (mainly with money) that was slowing us down for the past couple of months (thus the absence of game updates), but we're back up to speed now! We should have some updates to share in the next couple of weeks. Thanks for your patience and continued support!
We're actually in pre-beta (very close to beta), but yes, you can join beta once we start. Just send an email with your name and devices to [email protected]. We'll add you to the testflight project once we're ready to go.

Hey everyone I know it's been a while since our last update. We're still working on the game - just hit another slow point. In the meantime, we're still doing the weekly/bi-monthly contests (see the TA link in my sig or just go to the EMO FB page), and this week, we're giving away a signed high res copy of one of our concept art images! Good news Evil Master Overlord is still alive, I was beginning to suspect it was some sort of vaporware practical joke. Keep us updated.
