Thanks for the feedback! We've made some slight tweaks to the controls in the new Test Flight build but due to the physics nature of the game we can't change how it responds too much. But let us know what you think. :)

No idea how I missed this and I'm probably way too late but I still applied for the beta! Anyway very interesting looking game! Those physics nail it!

Yeah I love this game already! Whoo awesomeness right here!

One thought, the highway obstacle is kinda random. I mean, the traffic drives pretty fast so it's mostly luck that you're not hitting something. Is this a design choice? It feels a bit unforgiving by crashing into something that you could not see coming.

Maby slow the traffic down a bit?

    Example: [IMG]

    Edit:
Since you accept request for cars, here is my love. It's the new 2nd generation Range Rover Sport (also Range Rover Sport SVG). This car belongs in a game like this, right? :) This car is a beast.

    Hey everyone!

A new Testflight version is now available. Some of you wanted steering to be more responsive so we've made some changes, let us know what you think!

Thanks for the feedback! There is a trick to the traffic sections but we'll have a look and see if slowing it down makes it easier to dodge. :)

About the new update with higher steering sensitivity:

Please... revert the update. I don't like the higher sensitivity at all, and I will explain why:

    - Before the update the cars felt heavy, which they should feel like, so that was good. It's offroad after all, not on a highway.

After the update, it felt way too arcady. Just go in the direction you tap. Steering is almost non-existend because the cars immediately turn to that direction, no more time for turning the wheel, which is not good.
You should use the physics, not make it more arcady.

    - My highscore went from 2700 to 5500, which is almost twice as much! Not a good indication either, because the games are too long for a 'quick' game.

    - You should not make the game easier by making it more arcady, because some players don't have skill to control the car. Skill comes in time and you have to learn that. This update definately made the game easier and more arcady. And one of the main reasons that I love this game are the physics and heavy feeling cars.

Please, strongly reconsider to get the old handling back. It doesn't feel and drive anymore as the game that I loved before this update.
It depends on the direction you want to go
    - Keep this update (easy arcade game)
    - Revert this update (physics based handling and steering which cars enthousiast love).

Thanks for the feedback fabianb! I really appreciate you taking the time to write such detailed feedback. We want Faily Brakes to be accessible to everyone and from our testing we've identified that some people had trouble with the controls so we've tweaked it slightly to make it more responsive. The physics and game mechanics are all exactly the same it's just the feedback of the controls that are different.

We're getting super close to launching and we should have a release date and gameplay trailer for you soon! Until then, more gifs!

WOOOOOP Got NTPKT774JYRK Thanks guys. Might end up writing up a preview tomorrow depending on how long I am at Uni for :p

See, I even have an intro thought out!

"Ever wondered how you would react if your car’s breaks failed and you were sent down a hill? Neither have I, but the team at Spunge Games certainly have and have decided to base a game off it with their upcoming title ‘Faily Breaks’."
