I would pay $9.99 for a Phantasy Star type game and I wish SEGA would hurry it up with one of the PS games on the iPhone.
One type of rpg I would love to see in the app store (and I'm not sure if I'm in the minority here) is something along the lines of Shin Megami Tensei's SRPG type. I love the mechanics of Persona 3 and Devil Summoner.
Sure. as long as you guys make better animation and flashier than you did with your last game. Even with that it probably won't come close to comparing with the SE output of these type of games so good luck, I'll be buying Chaos Ring instead >_>.
So you're saying that now that Chaos Rings is coming, nobody else should do a turn-based RPG? That's just lame.
i'd very much like a sci fi fantasy game for ipod, however, im sick of every game that comes out being either obscenely cartoony or anime. not that i don't like these styles, it just gets old fast. what i'd loooove is a mass effect style game; good story, believable characters, and a sense of realism. turn based is a meh, i think the only reason we still make these games is because of how much we used to love final fantasy/pokemon etc. turn based games these days are just too slow and uninteresting to simply be a homage to old gameplay. so a big thumbs up from me for a sci fi fantasy game, but a resounding nooooooooooooo for turn based, as it's an outdated and simple game mechanic, that just isn't all that fun in the first place.
Oh whoops. I misread it and thought it said JCS (Jet Car Stunts) Also, Zenonia is nothing like Zelda. Lol.
Graphically it is, gameplay wise not as much, but there are still some similarities. Zelda is actually good though, unlike Zenonia Oh and JCS is alot like Trackmania.
