Except for the slightly improved graphics, they didn't mentioned anything else. CMIIW, but I read elsewhere that the DS version is kinda difficult, I hope they fixed this problem.
I think difficulty is an issue when it comes to the iphone version because I don't want to spend hours grinding. I'm not saying that it should be a cake walk but maybe tone it down a bit or for it to allow you to save inside dungeons.
I agree, I was disappointed the first two Final Fantasy ports were with tuned down difficulty. Difficulty and grinding are not always the same thing. I recall NES Final Fantasy having some grueling boss fights.
I agree, but the latter is much more possible if you ask me since most DS reviews are saying that the difficulty is what draws gamers to play it apart from the graphics and the "Final Fantasy" name.

If they haven't submitted it in the last two weeks (and set an own release date), then FFIII might be delayed for two more weeks. Absolutely understandable because of the situation in Japan. If they've submitted it, it might pop up today or next thursday. Or anytime - as I said, a company like Square / Enix doesn't have to rely on the thursdays. They'll get featured by Apple anyway.
than its more likely that it will be released beginning of may ? since the disaster in japan started almost 2 weeks ago. or there are some small issues that apple have and than it could be possible for next week. either way..i will still sit back and wait for the good news think once this is released ..it will sky rocket to the best apps sold section. just hope they will keep the price normal at 8.99.

no wonder i didnt see any new game releases..hahaha.. eventhough i would feel the price range between 10 - 12 is to much for a port..i would still get it because final fantasy is my favourite series !
It isn't just a port... overhauling the graphics and graphic engine requires quite some work, I would guess.
