Oh nice, thanks for the link. Yeah, even though I barely played my DS version of FF3, I'll still get this one and hope that Square-Enix continues to port more stuff.
How? Please explain exactly how and why S/E should do that. They're still porting FFT and FFIII. Then, there's Chrono Trigger and FF 4 and 5 before they get to FF 6 and 7. I guess they are waiting for stronger iOS machines before they might release these games more polished. I think we could see FF 6 & 7 in 2-3 years, if we're lucky. I also hope that FF3 is released on March, 3rd...
Glad it's going to be the DS remake. Can't wait. March is looking awesome with this joining my Pokemon Black and the 3DS.
I hope they bring that too. I got to play through 3 but sold my DS before getting 4. But i'll be happy to play though 3 once again.
FFIV for DS was excellent. I got to play through it, but not III, so I'm happy lol. But they really should bring it, a lot of people will love it.
If it's from the DS version, does that mean that it's using 3d graphics? Coz if it's true, then I'm going to buy this straightaway instead of waiting for price-drop. I mean, seriously... first 3d final fantasy on iOS!
I doubt it, unless they upscale everything for retina. FFIII on DS fits onto one of Nintendo's 128mb cards (and doesn't even fill it). Of course, if they remaster the audio into mp3 instead of midi, that would easily increase the size by a couple hundred more.
i hope square will release some screenies for me to see sometime soon, i was anticipating only one final fantasy to come out spring but now i know there will be two of them.. i am so happy..:]... hoping for the ds version.. hoping fft is released same day as this .. and im hoping for a low price.. i dont wanna pay 12.99 like chaos rings.. but if it is ill probably buy it.. but only after i see a few reviews on it.
I too would love to know more about this game! But after playing both final fantasy 1 and 2 on iOS I can assume that we won't be getting this: FMV... what's up with that? I mean, how much bigger will the app get if they were to include it in anyway? Hope they include some in FF3... Hopefully, we'll get something like this. Though they might need to tweak the textures a bit since it's way too pixelated, especially for an iOS game. Certainly 3rd gen iDevices can handle much heavier graphics than DS right?
