if i disliked ff3 will i enjoy this? Ive enjoyed playing advance wars and shining force is this similar? also does this even have multiplayer?
Yes, you should enjoy this. The gameplay is turn-base strategy. Definitely check out the gameplay videos prior to dropping $16.
My ipod says the size is just under 700 mb unpacked. I figured it'd be around this size. It's goddamn huge. I had to delete Asphalt 6 for this
3gs Has anyone tried this for the 3GS yet? Been looking for an impression since this is an impression post but can't find many. I have a 3GS I don't expect Miracles I'm buying it either way but if anyone with a 3GS has played this please leave an impression
More than likely you will dig it. I couldn't bring myself to finish FF3, one of the most overrated FF titles in my opinion, but the FF Tactics games really only share the class and setting flavor with their RPG counterparts. The actual game play is much more like Advance Wars with persistent units and equipment upgrades.
Game doesn't crash on the 3GS, only thing that I've noticed that's bad is that it sometimes lags a bit, and during spell animations it lags. Other than that it works perfectly and I'm really enjoying it..
Hey everyone, just got the game. Will be posting pictures of 2x, retinapad, and full force on iPad for peoples consideration soon.
the graphics is basically the psp resized to fit a smaller screen they didn't think to resize the text so its really hard to read... like other said, it lags everytime u attack...(from the confirm attack to the attack) controls are good graphics suck balls. fmv is awesome... sounds is well..sound... definitely not worth 16 dollars oh and im using an iphone4...i closed all my stuff/apps as well so im not running a gazillion apps in the bg..
Neither Retinapad or Fullforce screenshots were shown, just regular 2x in iPad and it was mentioned Retinapad made little to no difference. If Fullforce is any different I'd love to see some screenshots.
It would be easy to patch up the fuzzy text, the game is retina but its 2d sprites on a 3d background, sound is well sound? the game has a great orchestral soundtrack....people need to chill out...its FF tactics came out on psx in 1998 , once again 2d sprites on a 3d background . and its amazing how animated the little 2d sprites are... they ported it over and cleaned it up to put it on psp and renamed it war of the lions added mp. It is one of the best tactics based games that uses a job system that can screw you over so bad if you dont build right (makes you start over or at least have 3 saves if you need to build differently), its a challenge no easy game and at 16 bucks its worth it 100+ hours easy... tides did you reboot your phone also? and ive read others that have no lag at all...
