We will release the millisecond it gets approved! We are very much looking forward to getting it into the hands of players. There have been crap football/soccer kicking games on the app store for too long!

It's time there was something quality available for fans during the World Cup!

Yes! Very much agreed. I'm picking this up and Pro Zombie Soccer. Good times my friend.

Will there be an iPad version? Separate? Universal?

With all of the penalty kick soccer/football games that have been released, I've been itching to buy one. I think I'll wait for this based on your previous releases.

    Thanks!

We are looking at doing an iPad version, and possibly even a 3 in 1 collection for iPad, but are focused on getting the iPhone version out in time for the WC.

Having played both games (and being incredibly biased!), I can say that you have much more control over the ball in Flick Kick Football - you can shoot low, medium or high, and you can bend the ball much further. Kicking feels very real and is not floaty. There also moving obstacles in Flick Kick Football which makes things quite interesting.

But of course, the most important judge will be the players, and we're looking forward to seeing what people think

    Hi guys,

A quick update - we are now "in review", which hopefully means we should be out very soon!!

We're also supporting the iPhone Game Developers World Championship that's running alongside the World Cup over at Pocketgamer!

Launch price will be a 50% off special at 0.99c

They might appear to be the same, but it's all about how they play, how much control you have ;)

This looks excellent, as someone that loved FKFG but is a massive Association Football fan, I can't wait to try this!

Don't much like the screenshot with two defenders and a shot from the penalty spot though, there's no way for that situation to actually occur in football! :p

You obviously not that much of a football fan,as that situation could occur in a game.Lets say a player passes back to the keeper and he picks it up on the penalty spot ;) Free-Kick...Ok so maybe not gonna have just 2 in the wall and that far apart and no other players in the area but it could happen :D

That'd be an indirect free kick.

    Your move :p

Your assuming that the players are static in that screenshot... I guess you'll have to check it out in the app because...

Flick Kick Football has just been approved!!

We just got the email from Apple, and it should be up on the App Store any moment now! :D
