I'm hoping for the full game that it costs $9.99 - $24.99.

To be fair, by the looks of things, if this game was released onto consoles just as it is it would probably cost like £30 - £40, feel sorry for the fact it will probably go on the app store for like £3 - £5 just so they get sales

Several pages ago, Tato said it will cost $9.99. I have paid $7-$20 before (The Bards Tale, MC3, MC4, FIFA 13...ect and the walking dead the game). So, $10 for FM is nothing:cool:

It should sell for $19.99 but with the App Store I see 9.99 being a good point.

I don't know about 9.99 Personally I would pay that price and I have in the past for apps, but a lot of the iOS gamers are cheap and wont pay 10 bucks for an app. ( I hate to say this but it's true)

Honestly, I would say 6.99 to 7.99 would be a good starting point. this could be one of the very best games on iOS and would be worth 10 easily but that's a tough price to be in the top of the charts... but if it is 10 bucks, I'll grab it.

Agreed. In relation to the patterns iOS buyers seem to have.

I'd love to see more games at 9.99 price point as long as it reflected quality.

Which I firmly believe it will in the case of Forgotten Memories.

Hopefully it starts a higher quality trend.

    this

Lol just kidding, I really, really think this price is very fair, even a steal, considering how many japanese ports cost up to $20 with FAR less production values, and they're that expensive just cause they charge you for the nostalgia feel.

    Hello guys,
Sorry for the late reply, last week was a very busy week.
I've been improving our rendering system to new levels.
I've replaced our old lighting and shadows models to a new and even faster one where everything is computed in one single pass.
The game is now running about 4 times faster.
Not only that but overall looking is much better as everything is unified now (old model was a shadow mapping system on top of the basic mapping and lighting).
I though it would be better to showcase the gameplay videos with such enhancements. The video should be live soon.

The engine you created seems to be awesome, it will be a huge step to ipad gaming. Keep the good work Tato.

    Just in case:
Things to look at: anti-aliasing, character shaders and shadows. Unified rendering system with volumetric lights (for example the flashlight), shadows and indirect lighting. Everything receives and cast shadows from all light sources. All done extremedly fast in just one pass. We were from 3-4 passes to just one. There's new FXs features coming in the next video such as volumetric dusts, animated ground fog, dynamic environment mapping (effects on the walls that dissolve and blends dynamically) and all those fancy things survival horror fans like. :)

    Nice. Thanks.
And you got the pictures to work nice and clearly.
    It is very impressive.

I see she's gone from a 9mm beretta to a classic colt revolver as well. Funny the little things you notice when the quality is so high on the images.

You should probably see that scene when finished, that's just our custom diffuse lighting, but for the video we should have almost everything set up, as reflective materials, bump, specular and all our stuff in the new unified rendering system.
