    Nop,
We got an other motion capture session this Sunday, I'll post some raw data from it. :)

Unity have support for Umbra Occlusion Culling. But in the case of Unreal Engine the CPU does frustum culling and the GPU does some occlusion query. UE also have support for PVS occlusion culling.

Umbra? Frustum culling? Are we still speaking in English?

Unity does frustum culling as do all 3d engines. Estually objects that lie outside the far clipping plane or before the near clipping plane are not rendered. Also objects out side the frustum of the camera ( sort of like the projection lines of the camera are not rendered). Umbra is a third party software plugin that comes with unity. It calculates what objects that are inside the view planes of the camera but are not visible due to occlusion of other objects.

    Umbra makes frustum culling better

Umbra Occlusion Culling won't replace frustum culling but makes it better by computing objects not visible in the frustum view. Regarding UE, it also does other stuff to compute object visibility as occlusion queries. I think if you don't bake any occlusion that's the default culling that it's done in UE (hardware queries).
Both of them are essential in order to retain low API Calls. :)

I thought for sure we would have a vid by now. Anyway can't wait for this game. It's going to be a blockbuster. But even a short vid would be great. I thought you mentioned the vid would be out in early January.

There's still some underneath improvements and additions in progress, we stepped back and hold it a bit more to be sure that when it's out, it's good for everybody to see it (including skepticals and heaters). Hopefully soon, by the mean time I'm posting images of all those improvements being done (well those that we can publicly share). :)
    Warm regards from Psychoz Team!

    As always, take your time.
Making it good is more important than making it fast.

Edit. Oops, fastbridge said it before me, sorry for double (ish) post.
