but you will lose 30 points for the 3 bombs i think the 'are you kidding me' achv. is broken. two times i got 269 points in classic mode. my high score is 270. one time with game center and one time with open feint enabled. i didnt get the achv?!?! than i did the same with zen mode. high score is 227 and i got 226 points, but no achv what did i wrong?! pls help and what about 'lovely bunch' achv?
Sadly you have been mislead as to how to unlock this achievement. You actually need to get the exact same score as your best, not 1 less Also! I wanted to take a quick second to call out da shiz wiz 19, LordGek, jak56 and Devilishly Good, who all helped out with beta testing on this mode. When you see them around, give them some kind of virtual pat on the back! (unless you know them in real life. Then you could give them a real life pat on the back.)

I love the new mode but at the same time im a little confused as too how random things are is there a knack to making the bonus bananas appear or do they just appear randomly . Also i was playing one game and had scored 289 after about 15 secs as i had a frantic followed by a freeze and a 2x so thought i was on for a big score but after that had no more bonuses plus more bombs than fruit and ended up only scoring 424 . So the question is , is getting high scores more down to luck than skill or am i missing something
The bananas are random so there is huge factor of luck. But the Blitz system makes up for this by rewarding players for their skillz. If you get a lot of combos in a row it'll say something like 'combo frenzy' or something when you get a combo. The background of the screen gets a bunch of upward arrows on it, this signifies that you have a combo blitz going. The game speeds up (and I think more fruit pops up) and for every new level of combos you get points. Unbelieveable combos net you like 25. The trick is to keep the blitz going by getting combos. If you don't get a combo for like 4-5 seconds it goes away and you lose the speed and bonuses.
BAH. I'm fed up with Arcade mode (in a good way, haha). I can't seem to break 600. No matter how hard I try. It seems like the fruit doesn't come up fast enough for me to keep a combo going. =P
